It's always good to see a new video from you Dean. I'm glad that you have a good friend that works at Gamestop. It's important to have someone looking out for you with regards to gaming. That was awesome of him to save that copy of Risen for you. I bought the last 2 copies of Risen that my Gamestop had, One for PlayStation 4, and one for the Nintendo Switch. I expect that the physical copies of Risen will be vary desirable in the future. They were released with such small print runs, and Gamestop was the exclusive retailer. I'm planning to install Risen and Risen 2 onto my Xbox Series X console this week. I look forward to watching your gifts and pickups video that your going to release soon. You definitely do have some pretty amazing friends and subscribers.
It's good to see you on the road to recovery bro. I hate being sick, and having that evil virus was not a fun time. It's awesome that you've been able to finally get in some gaming. It's a tragedy with how long it's been since you got to actually game regularly. I've been able to finally play a lot more games myself, as I'm not having to live at work anymore lol.
It's crazy how many hours you have in Mad Max. I know you can't wait to finally beat that big race in gas town. I loved that mission, and had a blast playing through the story. I hope you can finally get this one complete this year. I think people will love that Ultimate Mad Max tips and tricks video that you have planned.
The Gears of War games are awesome on the Xbox One X and Xbox Series X consoles. I need to go back and replay all of the Gears of War titles.
Forget those stupid E-cars lol...Only real gas powered cars for me. It's good that you have a decent Mom & Pop store VIP Games. That $7 was a great deal on Risen 2. I miss those days of when we had so many good games coming out each month.
It sucks when someone has to sell off games from their collections to pay bills, but unfortunately we sometimes have to make sacrifices in life for the important things that actually matter. Life is definitely not cheap, and it's sadly only going to get more difficult. It's awesome to hear that you work with some gamers at your job.
I really loved receiving those Strategy guides for you bro. I need to do an update Strategy guide collection video in the past. lol...everyone seems to have a problem with being able to find a game I don't already own. My Wife just asks me what specific game(s) that I would like.
I appreciate the support you've shown my channel. I think list of favorite Your CZcamsrs would be cool. You could always do it as a series over time. I know you've been through a lot in the past several years Dean, but I know the lord has assisted you in these troubling times. It's such a sad thing to hear about Limited Run. 1) Piggyback should hire you to pen a posthumous strategy guide for Mad Max. Beloved by an ever increasing number of gamers (who didn't purchase at launch). BTW the cave system you uncovered seems very elaborate for a hidden area. Wow. Sidenote: Gameranx did another retrospective on Mad Max, 4 days ago.

I saw that well stated video on "Mad Max", one of several championing the under-rated game which is my favorite of any 8th gen adventure. As far as your number (2) list of many newer games listed, my inability to game since my early 2016 back operation has kept me from experiencing most of those games listed, even though I own most of them bud.
Hey Dean, sorry to hear to haven't been feeling well again. I also just saw your community post and realized you uploaded a new video! CZcams's so terrible at notifications. Great pickups, I've been focusing a lot of getting some PS2 and Xbox games. It's been very exciting to get those games I used to play as a kid again. I'm glad the stock with the new consoles is improving too, I'm seeing them in store here as well. Wishing for a full and speedy recovery so you can get back to gaming again!

Great video Dean, really enjoy these videos. Been watching them as I play Return to Castle Wolfenstein the Xbox version. Haha have to pause my game and rewind on some of your videos as you make a point or show a new game you have that caught my interest so took me longer than probably normal to finish the game but it was worth it. I really enjoyed it. One day I'll have to play the unlocked game of Wolfenstein 3D and beat that game as well. Only currently have 85 Xbox games and made a list of the ones I wanted which was suppose to end around 180-190 games but after seeing your collection and games I didn't even know about I had to add more to my list. Also glad to hear your able to play games for longer periods. I remember about 10+ years ago I got a scare myself where I fell completely on my neck and couldn't feel anything for a few minutes most likely not that long but I just lost track of time. I tell ya when that burning pain when through my body I was really happy at that moment. I just couldn't picture not playing any games ever again.
Thanks for your kind comment my friend, sounds like you enjoyed that game which is good. Over time I kept discovering new games on the original Xbox so I kept adding them onto my list, I'm still trying to find a handful of titles left, it's a fun hobby.

28:11 That's why I'm not quick to get the new games and systems today; I wait for the "Game Of The Year" edition or whatever, that has all the patches and DLC.

Great to see you back Dean. I hope you are continuing to get better. My health has been a joke for the past year but I try not to dwell on it! I am currently trying to get money together to get a new PC so I can get back to making videos. I have been trying on my laptop but it won't render videos properly for some reason. I think it just doesn't have the power needed to do a proper job. I have been playing a lot on my PS5, Switch and Series X and enjoying them. Sorry to hear about your computer issues, I have similar issues with the forced Windows 29 software as it stopped me from using my HD PVR-2 as well as my beloved & easy to use Sony Vegas editing software so mow I have very limited options for making quality videos.

I haven't got a PS5 yet but the same boat as you, I'm waiting for a PS5 pro or slim if they ever make one. I'm sure by then there will be more available. I heard rumors that a PS6 will be out by 2027 or 2028. As of right now I still have a backlog of games to play so I'm not too desperate for one. 😃

There he is! Out and about enjoying his life! I agree 100% man need a proper engine with sound. I guess youtube stopped showing those community posts and you have to go to the channel to see them. I played through Risen on 360, very hard game at first but you get the combat ddown and its rewarding, been meaning to get the second one myself.

I'm glad you are doing well, despite everything that's going on, which sadly is not good. But at least we have these games to escape it at least for few hours daily. I really need to start playing Mad Max. I've just finished Days Gone which I enjoyed, but I get feeling that I will enjoy Mad Max even more. I haven't been aware that Risen has been released on PS4...that one may be challenge to track it down now.
I'm still OK, still waiting to do that one big move, hopefully sooner than later.

You got crazy time in Mad Max lol I actually would like to see that tips & tricks video from you. I looked into Risen & def not something I'd be into but I know you love your older games. I really want you to beat Mad Max the ending is fantastic. One of the best missions is at the end
I can resume my PS4 Pro save file where I'm at the mission right before the big race to obtain the V-8, but after so much time away I wanted to re-play it again from the beginning on the One-X as I had forgotten all the controls & options. I'm at 113 hours on the Southern half of map only, right at the point before going through the "Jaw" portal to the Northern part of the map, I 100% most of the enemy camps, scrap locations & stronghold projects first to level up my Max character to the highest point at "Road Warrior" level attributes. I prefer heavy grinding to obtain as much out of the game as I go along, hence my 400 plus hours into it in numerous attempts before the crucial "4th patch" which finally fixes the "Map Vanishing" game-breaking bug I was forced to cancel 4 playthroughs at close to 100 hours each, torture.

I pretty much watch all youtube on an older android tablet so only get to check the community tabs once in a blue moon. Good to hear the stock situation is sorting itself out for ps5/series x. Im still enjoying my One X/ps4 pro but plan to upgrade one day when more games come out on them. Hopefully this will be your last playthrough of Mad Max. I plan on playing it sometime this year so your videos should come in handy.

Thanks for the info, I was ready to play & enjoy the "Dead Island 2" from Yager Studio's years ago, a few more months waiting is fine as long as it isn't too broken or buggy. I have never played any of the "Dead Space" games so the new one might be the perfect entry to the series my friend.

I personally have that with Mafia 3. Just recently obtained a empty Steelcase for it. My son fell of the stairs at night time a few weeks ago. So I need to take care a little more of my little gamer. Tomorrow I will get to see the orthopedic and we will hear how he is healing the splinter that came of his ankle. For the moment he has a cast. Besides that I had a lifetime event going completely wrong with a former female student. Who threatens and stalks me. I guess she has a Borderline Personality Disorder. My most played game of 2022 is Sniper Elite 5 and DLC. Currently waiting for season two dlc to play. Cyberpunk and all the other backlog is still waiting. My first finished game of 2022 was surprisingly good The Last Of Us II. Because of the gameplay mechanics and the environment. Aldo I hated it to see Joel die. But I hope he will return in a third alteration... as a man with good imagination I see possibilities in such a mind twister story wise. Cyberpunk must be great to play on my PS5 and X Box Series X after the patches. I hope to enjoy that game in 2023.Mad Max I still need to play. I hope your health is better in this new year. Risen is a game ip I never played. So nice to find out what else you and your friends are playing. Cameron did a great video about his 2022 games,Jeremy has his weekly updates and SolidRev and his son make great content too. I'm still not ready for making good videos. I’ve been trying to catch up on some things myself bills etc. just started getting back to work after being laid off for a few months I was thinking about getting the PS5 But I have so many other bills I have to take care of I’m probably going to wait until the summer to get one At that time I believe the new Star Wars Jedi survivor game Which is a sequel to fallen order looks real good.At moment I’m content with my PlayStation 4 been playing cyberpunk 2077 as of now I might even do a second play through Hope You and your family had a nice Christmas and a happy new year.

Mad Max is a great game. I couldn't stop playing it once they fixed it :). I did have one glitch where a boss didn't drop a weapon or something I wanted to collect, I can't remember exactly what it was but I think it saved right when I beat him so I couldn't load the save & replay him so I just continued on. I wish they would have added some more stuff to it but it's good as is. Me and a friend are going to try & play a Mad Max table top RPG. Good to see you on screen again dude.

Happy belated 60th buddy! Glad you're feeling well enough to do some youtube again. I just ordered a copy of Mad Max for my PS4 so I'll be able to check it out soon. I've also been waiting on a few games from Limited Run for almost a year but I'm never going to order anything from them again. I was mad anyway for them taking so long to get my product to me but the whole firing thing really pissed me off. It seems like lately these companies would rather throw good people under the bus than stand up to miscreants for fear of backlash from the lgbt mafia.

@toyota1985 I hear you on the new killer TV's available, I bought the very last flagship Samsung 4K HDR 120 HZ 65 inch TV they made, as the next year they put all the best performance features into their 8K models to push those over the older 4K ones, newer flagship 4K models had half the dimming zones & less quality components vs the model I got after much research & it was 40% off at the time. A good TV makes a world of difference for gaming & movies, well worth the investment.

@toyota1985 Before I moved I had to give my 27 inch Trinitron & my 32 inch Toshiba analog TV's away, now I'm having a hard time finding one.
Great to see you back and feeling better. I'm still working my way through your vids, I've made it into 2017 already. Those Risen games do look really cool, you know the developer went on to make another series "Elex" on the 8th gen consoles. It's kind of a scfi action RPG with jet-packing abilities, it's really interesting... I thought some of the cartoonish animations in NFS Unbound were kind of funny, but the game seems well received so I've grabbed it for my PS5. Would really like to get Dirt 5 as well it looks incredible on 9th gen, when compared to 8th gen, but sadly the print run of PS5 copies was nearly non-existent. People are selling copies for above MSRP already. You have to be careful about those print runs nowadays. I've been playing Stray on my PS5, such a great adventure.
As for politics, I've stated my philosophies do align more with left wing ideals but I don't condone cancelling, woke skulls, pandering, or any of that. I just wish that we could lower the temperate between the political divide we have going. All the antagonism and intolerance coming from both sides. We should all feel free to express different opinions and associate with whom we want, but also work to understand that those with differing takes on life aren't necessarily our enemies. I don't know what the answer really is, but I'm not a fan of this culture war at all. Anyhow, I'm looking out for those updates, take care.

Dean your external hard drive is compatible with the Series X. You can play games off the external hard drive. If its an optimized for series x game then you can store the game on external storage if u want to play it then you gotta move to internal storage. Thats what i do n i havent needed to buy the new storage

Great to see you back matey :). Not to bad the Risen games. 2 was definitely my favourite of the trilogy because of the pirate theme setting to it. Lol i know that feeling going back to a game after a long break and getting used to the controls again. I can't stand limited run games regarding the recent news with them. After importing a copy of The Atooi collection for 3DS I won't be supporting those woke weirdos over at LRG anymore. They deserve being boycotted.

Risen Trilogy is alright games that came out for the 360 PlayStation 3 and PC years ago they have a remastered version they just released for the Xbox One PlayStation 4 and switch I do have risen one risen 2 on disc and digitally cuz they're backwards compatible on Xbox
They perform far better on PC than on those 7th gen consoles for sure. I just bought the physical PS4 port of the first game.
Cool update man, I just found your channel in the last month as I learn more about collecting for the 360. I'll admit that I'm a left-leaning millennial, and we certainly have different ideas about stuff, but you seem like a good guy all-around and I really enjoy your insight into games. I'll leave you with this: I wish the woke stuff would in fact go away, but I also wish the culture war stuff on the right would be too. Too much politicization on both sides and not enough problem-solving. I live in Georgia and enjoy how my state has become so moderate over the last 20 years. The voting demands that it be that way

I enjoy your content a lot and how your tastes diverge from the consensus when it comes to certain types of games. I was more of a sports gamer back during the 360 golden years so I'm acclimating myself to a broad spectrum of games that are unique to the system. The game I'm really hunting for right now is The Saboteur. That game looks incredible
@David E. I can't say enough great things about "The Saboteur", it's basically like a WW2 mix of "Assassin's Creed" with "GTA".

No worries. I only played Gothic 4 but my older brother played the others on PC. He was very happy to find out this was being released since he considers the original to be "Unplayable" at this point. Getting the original wireless Logitech controller/receiver for the Xbox since "Retro Fighters" only has one for Nintendo GC/Wii/Switch & Playstation 1/2/3/mini and am excited to see how that works out since my CRT is a bit too close.
@Malecus76 I gave my two big CRT analog TV's away right before I moved to another State, now I can't find one near as nice.
@@vinniecorleone62 I've had good luck at local Re-Stores here in Central Coastal Virginia. To be honest my PS2 looked decent on my new OLED. Color rocks! Also hooked up my PS5 to a 13in CRT which was surprisingly good just for SNGs.
@Malecus76 Can you hook up older systems like a N-64 or Sega Genesis to a newer Samsung QLED TV, or does it look pretty bad without a upscaler?

i didnt know about the limited run employee who was fired for those reasons. I dont typically share political opinions online or follow anyone political for similar reasons that you just cant please anyone. personally i will listen to all political opinions.
I keep most of my political views to myself but since this is a major game related company I had to make a stand for what is right. The person who insisted on firing her is a real piece of waste, so the injustice is overt my friend & worthy of pointing out.
