My dad can actually relate to the star thing... He has, like, really bad eyesight, he NEEDS his glasses... but anyway when he was young before he got glasses he thought that stars you just kinda had to look through a telescope to actually see, at the very least where he lived maybe, idk, anyway... I don’t know why. But all Junkrat and Roadhog comics make me really happy and really sad at the same time.
Theres a deeper meaning in what Roadhog says at 1:20 (even though the time like is a little messed up for it). Roadhog is part of the group that blew up the Omnium in Australia and from what it sounds like made a post apocalyptic environment. From what I can find Junkrat is 25 (that's cannon in the overwatch hero description) and the omnium blew around 7-8 years ago (fan made timelines, i need to look into this further). This means that Junkrat would have been a late teen when the sky was ruined but with some artistic licence lets say he was younger. Roadhog could have been the reason the "pollution" stopped Junkrat from seeing the stars. He feels guilty that hes a part of the reason a whole generation of Australians don't know what stars are. Oh, the explosion also spread the radiation that drove Junkrat bat crap crazy, so Roadhogs also responsible for that too.
