I do think it can be distracting from this song as the word tends to bring to mind western white masculine patriarchal view of the Devine. I remember discovering this song in 2021, in the midst of depression, dark night of the soul, physical pain and constant purging of trauma.. I burst into tears when I heard it and felt such connetion with spirit. Today it brings me to tears again as I realize the painful yet beautiful journey I have been through and thank god for all the experiences, stories and people that have opened my heart to the magic and levels I didn't know existed. So a few weeks ago I was talking to this sound producer. He came at my bar and we had the nicest conversation about buddhism, following intuition and dealing with suffering. He told me that before he went to bed he listened to something metaphysical and positive. He told me that sometimes the things he got recommended were so what he needed that it felt like a signal from the universe. Well, that night I checked my CZcams and this was the first thing that came up and it’s magical! The energy is healing me in so many ways and is exactly what I am trying to cultivate. The coolest thing is that he also told me that he just quit his job to go make music that incorporates mantra’s. Well, John, I really hope the universe will send you this video soon!
