Like, if you don’t own a car and you live in most American towns, either your parents have to give you a ride *everywhere* or you don’t leave the house.
I don’t know if you’re from America or not, so I’m sorry if I’m telling you things you already know. Obviously money is frequently an issue, so it’s very common for kids not to actually *own* a car but rather to just have nearly monopolized control over their parents’ car.
Like, you feasibly could ride your bike across American towns, but doing this to carry out a normal teenage life is very impractical
