Ren is creating his own new category. It is beyond music, something like "Musical", but different. A "Ren-all" to differentiate from kidneys It encompasses everything: Video, Audio, Lyrics. In Wagner's Germany it was called Gesamtkunstwerk.

Ren said that he had been working on this for quite awhile and he always tries to outdo himself. This is a one take video. His friend Samuel is the camera guy. Videos are conceptualized by Ren. With this video, he has told us what the pig represents in his videos. The two pigs started the rebellion against 2 Legs. Love your reactions!

I feel like this song is going to separate out who the real fan reactioners are and those who are just doing Ren for the views cuz hes super hot atm. Im seeing so many abandon their normal format and doing all Ren songs now, because of all the Ren heads flocking to all these reactions.. But some are only doing em for the views where others are actually fans now and (I myself am addicted) are learning about him...theres an email I need to get on that Ren sent out talking about how he was in his friends flat and got the idea for the video. And asked if he could turn his house into a jungle, great lil story about them running out and grabbing all sorts of plants in the middle of the night. You can definitely see who the readers are now in these reactioners

Ren is always amazing and never ceases to amaze me either. I did hear in one of the interviews that he did that this video he talked a bunch of his friends into volunteering to help out and it took them nine hours to shoot the entire thing.

The first vibe for me on this is ""Ren points the independent artists which are blocked by music industry and referring them as animals. Again referring to industry bosses as kings as he says will destroy them(he doesnt say destroy but means it since they lost their crown) with the help of other animals, you know who they are now". When you think about this this and the last verses of illest of our time, sick boy, money games 1-2 and so many others, i think he has an idea of musical revolution. If we push that idea a bit Ran says he has influenced from so many movies or books, i guess he must have watched "The Illusionist". The whole journey looks like the script of that movie :D ofc thats my brain pushing things in the way that i want to but why not ?

Fantastic reaction! I agree with you that Ren is basically giving us a guided tour of his mind. In Illest of Our Time he invited us in whereas in this one he's playing host. After seeing this, I have to say that while it would be fun to visit, I wouldn't want to live here. It would be a bit like attending a rave at The Hotel California... eventually you'd just be dying to go home and get some sleep.
BTW: Ren mentioned that they added some sort of gel to the water to make it string like that in the tub. Go Amazon!

Thank you for reacting to anything by Ren. Bisecting or dissecting Ren's brain may be too much of a challenge for normal human beings. Be careful and just use your imagination. Yes it's Animal Farm, one of my most favorite books I have read since I was 12 years old! Many other references. I would love to be inside Ren's brain, for a few minutes, is that enough time? would I come back out myself again? Will Ren's brain explain my thoughts as well as his. I feel a commonality with him that sometimes scares me but mostly excites and thrills me. Ren is amazing, I always wondered also the mind of George Orwell from some of his books. When younger not much made sense now that I am a senior citizen, a lot more makes sense from my education, reading a lot and other observations.

1 of 3 reactors [out of the approx 25 that I've watched thus far] whom caught the Animal Farm references & allegorical tie-in w/the final verse. Totally blows my mind how many folks in this modern age of technology w/their constant need for stimulation have caused such a dumbing down of society wherein it's blatantly evident by how poorly-read & under-/uneducated the younger generations are proving themselves to be. I know a few teenagers whom wouldn't be able to name 1 Orwellian concept or masterpiece, despite having high GPAs, though I myself had read & was essay tested on both Animal Farm & 1984 before I even got to hs, which makes me believe that the same educational system & county in which I obtained my education has dumbed down it's curriculum so far that it's become detrimental, not just to being educated but to the possibility of human evolution. We're devolving so rapidly 😮

I love watching these reactions. There are always details in each of these reactions that help to build up a total picture. I actually don't want Ren to explain anything in terms of the meaning behind his songs and videos. I love all the interpretations by people and I really love mystery. Probably why I love alot of David Lynch movies for that reason. I would ask if Ren is also a David Lynch fan? Judging by the dream like psychological aspects of his videos I can see why this might be a possibility. Like Scorcese and Kubrick, David Lynch would again be another influence worthy of exploring by Ren - really weird and dark stuff. Yes Willy Wonka I'm sure was another reference there and the Roald Dahl story, like Orwell's, there is a cautionary tale within the story. I'm seeing Willy Wonka, Alex from a clockwork orange - (the ultra violence running beautifully within the lyrics). The poodles making out on the stairs before turning to the camera is very reminiscent of the ghosts in animal suits in that scene at the end of Kubrick's "the shining". Love it.
