Donât feel bad for king, he was involve with Kaido causing starvation and basically was about to massacre innocent, civilians with the island landing.
@@yoboiboy4182 probably because after the post time skip, the strawhats literally cleaned everything on their path nobody was a threat. Doflamingo stopped being a threat once luffy decided to use Gear 4 and Zoro destroyed Pica with haki on his swords.
And when they invaded big momâs territory it was just katakuri vs luffy, the rest just fled lol
Post training straw hats were almost ready for yonkou fight making all the enemies feel like a joke

Man as someone who watched this since I was like 6 years old seeing zoro reach this level honestly makes me want to cry. So proud of our boy

The animation after the break became absolutely crazy. Imo this has to be at least one of the best fights in one piece. We cannot thank Toei in words for giving us this masterpiece!

@@brietayto6427 it is take the saboady archepelago arc for example we get to see the worst generation and how they were also rising with luffy and he wasnt the only one and that they have their own stories... same is with luffy's crew and kaido's crew they all have the same loyalty to kaido as luffy's crew has to him and that shows the world building skills of oda because whenever he makes a new chapter hes also thinking ahead of other characters and already planning their story like king in that episode.

World building is oda in one chapter showcasing different events that has transpired throughout the whole of one piece that don't/Do correlate and run directly at the side of our main characters story but effects the whole of one piece (what you get at bounty reveal chapters)
Zoro has come a long way, mihawk humbled this man with a butter knife and he ended up turning him into a demon

Zoro was lucky to get humbled so early. It brought him right down to earth and showed him how hard he needed to work to become the greatest.
To come from being spanked by Mihawk to claiming the 'King of Hell' title - it has truly been a bag of emotions with Zoro. 10/10 character growth

Easily one of my favourite episodes from the anime by far, the final clash, the music, and the closing act of Zoro speech as well as him landing back on Onigashima, it's IMO the perfect Zoro episode.

What an episode, no filler, no (unnecessary) flashbacks to 1 episode ago. Stunning animation. Honestly is one of the best I've seen in years.
I really hoped the anime will show a closeup view on Enma after Zoro said he shall become King of Hell .. as this was a direct implication from him that he will tame Enma completely to become stronger.

I only watched like the first 100 episodes of OP growing up as a kid but I know most of the major events happening in the series cause of spoilers đ but now Iâm thinking of actually watching it just cause my dude Zoro over here is one of the greatest characters Iâve seen and thatâs just from knowing like 20% of his whole story

Honestly with this declaration, along with Zoro meeting the grim reaper, I can't help but see Zoro's promise to never loose in a different light. Personally, I think Zoro is meant to become the Grim reaper of the One piece world, someone who can never be beaten, cause no one beats death itself. That is my interpretation of Zoro's declaration and meeting the grim reaper. He was always meant to meet the reaper one of these days and he will become its avatar on earth. Someone that no one can stop, and no one can outrun
Also Zoro declaring his name will reach Heaven holds even more weight. King was a fallen God, forced to live on the world. Zoro will eventually fight the current gods himself. Zoro is following the path of the Asura.
Mihawk is the WORLD'S Strongest Swordsman, but for a time he cooperated with the will if the gods, but Zoro will never do that. His name will be feared by the highest in Mariejois.
Ya know...the Z symbol at the end really lends back to Zoro being loosely inspired by Zorro. Nice to see one jaw dropping character reference another.
Zoro really said "if you want a monster you'll get a monster" showing not only how strong his resolve is but also showing the level he need to reach that mihawk level.
This fight perfectly shows the importance of Conquerors Haki and how overpowering it is when its properly applied to combat
AND! the red lightning spells out Zoro at the end!
Hot take, Luffy coating himself with Conquerors Haki was way more important to winning.

I guess it would make sense for Zoro to become a king in some sense. After all, Raleigh became known as the Dark King, yet was still second in command to Gol D Rodger. Seems to indicate even more the Luffy's crew is following their footsteps.
The parallels between the captains and their right hand men of these two crews is peak writing. Itâs basically the two gone wrong in Kaido and King, and gone right in Luffy and Zoro. đ€đœ
