Same problem with a electrolux. I miss the old white ones.
Just vinyl wrap in black stainless 3M vinyl and be good for life. Ever get a scratch a simple heat gun heals the mark. Fingerprints and food goop dont even require a spray solvent to wipe off. This is why its widely used on cars over paint now.
Heat resistant?
The same thing happened to me after only one year.
OMG ! thoughts and prayers
HHahhhahahahah yes
i have the same problem with my Samsung stove i bought all fore appliances with a extra 5 year warranty total price 6500 and i need to figure out what i can do because you store i got it from is saying it is not coverd in the warranty
Mine is same too
Home Depot, wisely stepping up.
same
Yes both my fridge and stove are peeling brought in 2019 It was shocking
I am so upset. I ordered an entire kitchen package from Costco in 2019. Fridge starting peeling within 6 months. Ours isn't even the black stainless steel. Just "regular". I had no idea there was a coating on it.
No such Black Stainless Steel. They are all just Stained
My fridge is peeling as well. I bought it and had it ship internationally l. I wonder what action I can take
I have the same problem with my Samsung black stainless steel oven and refrigerator. What can be done?? This is not Acceptable 😡🤬😡🤬
Same problem with all brands. Not just Samsungs
Samsung should be ashamed.
Yes got mine in 2016 the entire package called the Home Depot then they say call Samsung and they also say it’s cosmetics damages doesn’t cover the warranty I’m so embarrass when I have to look at it
This is happening to me here in Florida. Brand new refrigerator black stain is peeling
Mine is doing the same
that rots! I hope these people get some remuneration
this is happening to our fidgidaire gallery trio of fridge stove and microwave. its a thin bluish coating. Peeling like an orange, and no its not the protective shipping sheet lol
Same thing is happening to me.
Same problem with all my LG appliances
Does anyone have a solution to removing the finish? Has anyone tried steel wool to remove?
Sad to say, I've gotten it almost off completely on one panel with just dishsoap, wager and a microfiber towel. It just wipes right off.
Just cleaned my LG stove.. used a magic spong to get the grease off near the handle. It peeled!!! But i was scubbing hard. We've had our set for a least 4 years now & it hasnt been a prob. We got them ar lowels. NEVER ever buy an appliance or anything expensive at home depot. Companies make products just to sell at HD & theyre sub-par. Hence why things a little bit cheaper there.
Mine is gunmetal. One year old and peeling. I want to join the lawsuit.
Had a similar problem with Samsung fridge here in India and was searching on web ..found peace now that I am not the only one suffering..It’s a Global problem 😂
It absolutely comes off. Mine is LG. All of it is coming off
This makes me so mad my stove is starting to do this
They could at least tell us how to fix it for now or sell some sort of repair...until this is sorted out. I love my fridge, just hate the peeling...😢
PAINT IT WITH EPOXY SPRAY
Ban Samsung
Cancel Samsung!!
They are made overseas. Like everything else. Deal with it.
Cheap junk
Absolutely hate my black stainless steel Samsung appliances
Maybe do your research before investing $3k+. I did and ended up going with a Bosch. They integrate the color earlier in the manufacturing process and therefore it's an actual color, not a plastic layer. 5+ years and no issues.
Yeah righto.. going to research the manufacturing process of every single item I buy? Some of us actually have a life and expect companies to abide by consumer guarantee's. Clown
You can’t call him a clown if you were to lazy to do a 10 seconds google research
First world problems
Some of us have first world jobs that pay first world money, why should we ignore our first world problems
All the appliance mfg’s. send their defective junk to HD, Lows, B buy, etc. the manufacturers never fix the problems and NEVER refund $. These big box stores with the exception of Costco never use their leverage with the manufacturers to protect their customers. You have none. It just encourages the manufacturers to save $ on quality control and send out defective appliances. You will spend all the time on your efforts in Anger. Not worth it.
No surprise, Samsung appliances have very low ratings, junk.
