Hey Flinter, I know that you are a huge content creator/ influencer on the game so I was wondering if you even see this if you could take a look at duck hunting and if it works like it should more specifically mallards. I have tried hunting them several times and every time I will sit there for hours and hunt zones but nothing will ever come in like you would think they would. Thanks
I've just accepted the fact I have to take 400 meter shots with a .22LR.
I've never seen em closer than 350.
I’ve had them land at my decoys once but other than that go to the shooting range and learn where to shoot the 22 at different ranges
@@bigjuicy2493 I'm still struggling with totally empty reserves, ridiculous lag (single player map, PS4) 1 step im fine, the next im getting literally 2 FPS and no audio at all.
@@julian75411 yeah the lag is atrocious at points, and the best advice I have for totally empty reserves is just crouch around and glass everywhere or set the time to an animals drinking time and go to a lake
@@bigjuicy2493 that's the most frustrating part: it's supposedly right in the middle of their drink time. I'll be lucky to see a lone female... and that zone is now deleted (I also am finding a ton of single animal zones, rest and drink)
The drilling rifle gave me early access to shooting harder animals such as moose when I started playing. Due to not having access to more powerful rifles
Would absolutely love to see a group goose hunt happen, large party, multiple blinds and cut a whole flock. As real as possible! Love your stuff!
I consider the grey geese rare and the brown hybrids are definitely uncommon but with the greys its just personal preference

Grey geese are kind of a tweener as far as rarity goes. They have a spawn probability of 0.38% (spawn odds of 1 every 263).
If you consider it a rare, it is one of the more frequent rares you can come across.
If you consider it an uncommon, it's about as "uncommon" as they come.
In my opinion it is a uncommon. You can shoot far more geese in less time than other animals

At some point do you think you can do a guide on how to start out in the hunter classic? Just started playing and kinda need some tips and can’t find any good videos for it.

I went to goose hunt last week and it was my first time since the fix and the first flock has 2 level 5's. sadly luck didn't hold and I lost one of them but it was still invigorating to see
i actually never thought about hunting with the drilling for geese, maybe could pack 2 of them and see how fast the switch is

I got a level 4 goose that scored 8.5 and a troll that weighed 8.69 but scored 8.5 and was gold. I know that the diamond requirement is kinda messed up so I taked em and now I'm gonna do some investigating

I still need a Gold Bald Leucistic, then I have every rare feather type as Gold, but I am currently trying to get a Diamond Roe Deer as my 100th Diamond!
The Drilling does not get much love since in game it is basically pointless. You can carry so many differend guns on you and switch in the blink of an eye. But in real life the Drilling is the best allrounder hunting gun there is. I can take the smallest pidgeon and take up to the biggest land animals there are in one gun. I can load up slugs if im going up close and personal with wild boar, makes for 3 hard hitting shots as fast or even faster than a semi automatic gun.
I use it on silver when I hunt for turkeys as I can use it to take out other animals too.
So I bought the pack but I don't know where to get the caller

No, there is a max effective limit. I believe it's 20. Flinter has past geese vids that cover it.

Hey everyone I’m gonna keep my cool But I’m very frustrated, I’ve been hunting today on 3 maps med, Layton n Fernando, I hunted a few lakes no problems, all of a sudden I noticed the zones disappeared after killing 1 animal at every zone, I lost a whitetail zone on Laton, a moose zone on med n a mule zone on Fernando, is there something I’m missing it’s the 3rd time this has happened within a week, I’m losing zones constantly after killing literally 1 to 2 animals ??
