Honestly, I can see both sides of this situation.
Charli is a really famous Tiktoker as anyone knows, and fame can certainly get to people’s heads. She didn’t explain how they were only “joking” when being rude to the chef. And James had a good point saying, “Was the 95M not good enough?”, even if it was just in a joking manner (although I’m sure he meant it seriously to some extent). Some of us aren’t that lucky to become so famous.
However, sending literal d3ath threats and telling someone to physically harm themselves is NEVER okay. What people were commenting was very uncalled for. Even if Charli was wrong, some took it way too far. Honestly, I’d probably cry too if people were encouraging me to hurt myself.
So in conclusion, BOTH sides of this were wrong to some extent. I know many people will be one-sided to this argument and only point out Charli’s faults. But I hope you can see how there’s more than one side to this whole ordeal. And I am not justifying anything Charli did. I’m only saying that people took their fun too far.
If you read this far, thank you for your time. This took a while to type out and I’m not some boomer trying to be the one to type a paragraph. I just felt this needed to be said since I saw nobody else here in the comments say this.
