Asa Taccone et Matthew Compton, plus connus sous le nom d'Electric Guest, sont les nouveaux artistes en vogue. Le groupe fût fondé en 2010. Les deux compères se sont rencontré dans une maison d'artistes à Los Angeles où Asa le chanteur avait déjà composé une centaine de chansons. Grâce au frère d'Asa, il rencontre Brian Burton alias "Danger Mouse". Ce dernier a produit les albums de Gorillaz, The Rapture ou le dernier opus de The Black Keys. La suite, c'est vous qui l'écrivez.
C'est dans les jardins ensoleillé du label Because Music que les Electric Guest et leurs musiciens ont débranché les guitares et nous ont offert deux incroyables sessions acoustique des morceaux "Trouble Man" et "This Head I Hold". Leur premier album "Mondo" sortira en France le 23 avril et ils seront en concert le 22 mai à la Maroquinerie.

Awesome!!! People remember "acoustic" doesn't just mean acoustic guitars around a campfire. Every open mic and cafe performance uses mic's and its still acoustic. You can say because of the keyboard or even bass this is technically not acoustic... but the vocals are amazing and there's nothing non acoustic about it.
