Sun News May 17, 2024: Large Sunspot Regions on Both Sides of Sun

A gorgeous prominence erupted near yesterday’s producer of an X3.0 flare, AR3685, but generally, sun activity is back to low levels with the production of only faint C flares. It seems our star is taking a break after the intense activity we saw while former active regions AR3663 and AR3664 were in charge before being rotated out of view. Will its activity pick back up?
