Shinto and daoism are probably the most nature friendly ways of being and living communally
🙏
It’s actually really amazing how well they compliment eachother.
My daughter has felt a calling to Shinto and as her mother, I appreciate videos like yours as a way of showing her I am in support of her.
That I embrace and respect where her heart has called her.
Thank you for this video♡
How wonderful! Thank you!
I am Catholic. My grandmother was a Taoist with several of her own rituals. I respect your rituals and look forward to incorporating them into my daily life. God bless ❤
Wonderful to hear! Thank you ❤️
They are amazingly helpful for betterment of ones mind body and soul. And quite enjoyable also hehe
Your explanation looks lot similar to Amazonian spirituality. Although we live long distance, I believe we all connected through the Great Spirit. Cheers!
I believe there is one single shinto ritual: our life, every single moment. Living in profound emphaty with the Creation, Mother Nature.
Simply giving gratitude to the creator, not his creation.
These mindful practices are calming, centering and grounding. -They are an active, respectful, and participatory engagement with life. Many thanks for highlighting these essentials. 🦋
You are welcome!
I enjoy Nature ever day as I fill my Bird feeders and watch them came to eat. The amazing aspect is that birds never over eat and stop when they have their fill. Shinto seems like a wonderful religion.
Great to hear! Thank you!
I've come upon the ideas of Shinto + Buddhism aftee being pushed into Christian practices as a kid. I find this very interesting, and I wish to adopt these as soon as I can. Thank you so much for your kindness and willingness to share!
Thank you for your comment! Delighted to hear that 😊
This fascinating video popped up in my feed. Japanese traditions and rituals have always intrigued me, with their intricacy and precision. Thank you for this presentation.
🙏
That’s wonderful! 🙏

Thank you for this video❤️ in my family, we practice a blend of shintoism, Buddhism, & paganism (I am european-american/native american & my husband is from Japan). It is amazing how much is similar between all of the nature-based spiritualities. In our home, they blend seamlessly together to create a very positive energy and lifestyle that represents our family’s mixed heritage.
Wonderful! Thank you for sharing 💖
Asians, like native Americans came from Siberia as well.
Thank you for this beautiful and informative video. These rituals have an immense positive impact on my life.
いろいろな日本のトピックにつけて教えてくれてどうもありがとうございます!
In Mexico, Catholicism is the predominant religion, but I've always disagreed with their beliefs which made me cynical towards spirituality in a way. As years have passed I have sometimes felt the need to find something else, something greater, something to connect to, and I think Shintoism strongly resonates with me. この動画を作ってありがとうございます!
Thank you! In Mexico, you have also a rich cultural history and civilization before Catholicism arrived. So I can imagine Shinto relates to you! Very nice!
I'm very interested in Shinto life philosophy - so I really appreciate your explanation of the 7 daily Shinto Rituals ! Thank you very much 🙌🏻
Thank you so much for this wonderful reminder, this was good for me. Needed to hear this message today. Appreciate you Azumi Uchitani.
Thank you!!
Shinto and Taoism are the best (don't mind my profile. Haven't changed it yet)
Shinto is something i've recently learned about in a study for class. I have been doing some of the practices without thinking about it, cleaning really does brighten my environment and cleanses the energy. Right on
Thank you. This was very easy to understand and a great reminder for me. Sometimes I get busy with life and forget the small but very significant moments of living it.
Thank you for your comment! Happy to hear that 🌸
I really like these ideas. Thank you very much for sharing.
My pleasure!
Thank you Azumi for offering us nice simple deep and important things not only in Shinto, but also in things between the self (mental, psychic and physical) and nature. God pervades everything.
My pleasure! Thank you for watching ☺️
Gods bless. Very facinating. Hope to go to Japan for cultural exchange through education. Good health from Norway!
Wonderful! Thank you!

Arigatou gozaimashita. One celebration during wintertime is Hatsumode. (I wasn't able to attend due to our kannushi retiring and closing the shrine though.😢 Instead, I prayed at my kamidana, which is not the same.)
Hatsumode is a nice symbolic ceremony to start a year. However, if we can’t do, we can do the way you did and doing purification and cleaning before the new year! 💖
thank you so much azumi for creating this series, i absolutely love it, its calming and relaxing, i love knowing about japan and plan on visiting there soon. japanese culture has always offered me with such grounding philosophies and teachings that surely has changed my perspective towards life.

Arigato gozaimasu + cam on nhieu (Giving much thanks+ feeling in Vietnamese) Azumi! It's great to hear and see how these traditional practices share similarities across cultures. Even in ancient Vietnam there's a similar respect. I especially appreciated hearing your distinction between practices for connecting with yourself vs. meditation too. Often there's a lack of distinction in a lot of Western teachings which can be confusing for people starting their foray into these practices but connecting with ourselves is just as much needed if not more here. You are doing wonderful and important work for us.
Thank you!
happy Lunar New Year
🙏✨
I might consider swapping from Christianity to Shintoism as an Australian. The religion seems much more peaceful and respectful
Shintoism is open for anyone regardless any background 😊
@JapaneseSalon Alright that's fantastic... I've always loved Japanese culture
Hello Azumi San,arigatou gozaimasu for your interesting video! I practice every day Buddhist Shingon ceremony and Shintô as well. Do you know more about Kôshintô before Meiji period?
How wonderful! Much respect to you! About your question, you can email to office@azumiuchitani.com Thank you!
Great video! Thank you so much for sharing with us! Hinduism also has alot of these practices too! Simple pleasures can be the best
My pleasure!

Hi, great video, on the salt chapter, you've said Mauricio/moricio I didn't get the word.
Thank you! It’s Morishio. I share the link for my article as well. Hope this would help you to understand the word & meaning. www.spiritualityhealth.com/7-daily-shinto-rituals
Arigatou, I got confused because my name is MAURICIO and the spelling sounds equal to mori shio, I'll read your article now.
Yes! I noticed! Mauricio is a lovely name!
I know this isn't the point, but what a beautiful woman
Thank you!

Hi :)
I have a problem, or maybe more of a situation
solution of which is problematic for me.
I live in a house with many more inhabitants than people and cat.
The problem is that I cannot communicate with these beings
I don't know what they want and what their role is,
two of these beings are my ancestors
driving away the ancestors by exorcism etc is probably the stupidest solution
but there are other beings,(3 or 5) neither ex-humans nor ancestors.
Do you know how to check it ?
Confirm that someone is actually here
and then determine what their role is and what they want :(
I don't have mystical abilities to do things like this,
there is any ritual that can unlock these abilities in us?
Lucid Dreaming OOBE,seeing energies etc
Simply make our magical rituals work, instead of being empty actions
that cause no reaction
(and all that remains is our belief that the ritual caused some change)
Does this way, or point of view, help us live with pain in illness or help us forgive those who hurt us?
We also need to train our mind and how we see things. We don’t want to welcome Pain, illness, negative experiences to our life, but during these period, we are growing spiritually. We help ourselves and purification practices help us to regulate our mind. We are the one who help ourselves, by regulating our own energy frequency. ☺️

What kind of salt do you use?
When I am in Japan, I use local my produces salt. Here in Europe, I use Himalayan salt.
@@JapaneseSalon thank you so much. I was wondering about this because some people also use Epsom salt but this is a bit different.
I heard about tenrikyo religion also is tenrikyo religion part of shinto religion or tenrikyo a different religion from shinto religion???? Please Reply Mam
Tenrikyo is new, It’s separate, but influenced by both.

What happens when you die according to shintoism?
Shinto traditions lean heavily on the concepts of the presence of kami and there are three realms, one of them being the afterlife of humans. The spirit of everyone is released at the time of passing away. The spirits live in another world, the most sacred of which is called “the other world of heaven.” These other worlds are not seen as a paradise or a punishment. Instead the worlds are simply where the spirits reside. They can connect and visit the present world when people correctly perform rituals and festivals.
Shinto says that the ancestral spirits will protect their descendants. The prayers and rituals performed by the living honor the dead and memorialize them. In return, the spirits of the dead offer protection and encouragement for the living.
I like u japanese peoples very much and I offer with my depth of heart to everyone.....Study Quran and learn about Islam ....u r people of knowledge....u will learn about the purpose of life and peace of heart in islam
Nobody needs your religion of death.
Wow, that is the way I have been all my life, and I am new to Shintoism
2:06 - salt is against all spirits, even the good ones...
God is in nature? Seriously how can the creator be part of creation?
Kami 神 is the divine energy. However generally translated as God in English, and sometimes I use the general term that causes confusion
@@JapaneseSalon thanks for clarification, my point give credit to the source not the created
Thank you! It was a good question!
It is a bit tiring to follow the explanations of this lady because her English and her pronunciation are not very developed. She is not the only one of course. The courage to present yourself on CZcams, in front of the world not being able to articulate properly (ahm, ahm, ahm...) has to be admired though.
I have no problems at all.
