Khalifa's neighbor called us, he said that the dog has been outside the gate for a month and the owner doesn't seem to change his mind. We took him away and hoped to give him a better new life there.
When we arrived at the hospital, we examined him and discovered many problems with him but all was not difficult with his patience and courage.
In the end, our efforts and love were not in vain when Khalifa smiled happily and had a new and better life.

I watch these sad and inhumane videos. I rescued and helped animals since I was 16 years old. I am now 65, and I stopped only to know other people took my small place. This situaton will always bothet me until I die. I must say "THIS IS WHY I HATE PEOPLE AND WILL ALWAYS LOVE ANIMALS. I still donate to shelters.

Thank you and all the vets for saving Khalifa. He's turned into a lovely, furry bear of a dog with a good sense of humour! Someone mutilated his ears and tail earlier in his life. Noone has cared in properly for him so he seems much older than he probably is. Hopefully Khalifa will find a loving permanent home.

But these owners, there should be consequences for their actions. Depending upon what you believe, there may (will) be punishment for our Creator who loves all of his creation equally. Doesn't matter how many legs we have, we are supposed to show unconditional love to one another. When I see the opposite happening to these beautiful babies, it hurts.
