What are the benefits of combining Helix and Tonex? I’ve thinking about getting a Tonex to use with my Helix LT. Love to see an in depth video on that topic. Thanks, Chad!

Hi, I’m using the tonex in the send/ return of my LT. I control the tonex via midi from the LT and it works really well for me. I think the key is to make sure the send/return levels are sufficient for the tonex and LT to work well with each other and obviously pick captures you enjoy. Very good feel and ample fx available to me. Give it a try if you’re not happy you can always go back to your existing setup. Best of luck 👍

That's something I've thought about, setting up a preset using ToneX with Helix.
Basically you'd be using the tonex as your amp sound. You can then use all of the Helix's DSP for adding effects to your signal chain.
You could have drive pedals before the tonex in the signal chain and delay/modulation fx after it for example.
Not using the amp and cab modeling on the Helix will free up quite a bit of processing power.
Also it would be a way to have amp sounds that might not be in Helix and put them in your signal chain via tonex.

@@limpeacock573 I’m using it for amp and cab sounds and placing wah and drives before the send return block and fx after it. Jason sadites has a video about setting the level for optimal use and that’s what I based my setup on.
