I just want to clarify some stuff:
Jackie's dad is a mimic octopus, that's how he turns into an inkling.
Jackie and Otto are not biological parent and child.
Jackie's mom is a normal inkling just like them (she got divorced and then re-married).

to be honest... Mr.Shoal's voice sounds like that snail in kirby right back at ya

Imagine if Giant squid Inklings where playable in splatoon, I'd say if they where here is how I imagine there balance
There strength is remarkable able to do much more damage then normal inklings such as if they where to use a brush or roller they would be able to swing it much faster and harder causing more damage then usual inklings, and for brushes I'd say they would be able to wield two of them, this would cause for more ink consumption how ever but doubles area of effect and even damage if need be, even for a Dinamo roller they would be able to swing it fairly well, they would also be able to walk at there normal full speed with brushes, and the mini guns, meaning they won't be slowed, but of course to help balance the strength, they are remarkably slower then normal squids, they can move faster in ink then normal how ever so most of the time you would want to be under ink most of the time in battle, plus with being bigger that means larger hit box, so a bigger target, bit to help balance that out, giant inklings would have twice the amount of defense as a normal inkling, kinda like they have more health, as for other guns and such for giant inklings well the damage on them wouldn't change, they would mostly just use them like duelies that's about it, maybe some giant Inkling exclusive weaponry calling for more play styles, and more use of skill to learn how they work, they would be like Heavy from tf2 in a sense, they would have there own custom hair styles, and even clothing, maybe a good bit of the clothing would just be larger versions of the normal ones, but I'd say most of there clothing would be for them mostly, giant squids also would have there own kinda specials like the kraken special comes back for them, they would still have some of the normal ones but they would have some of there own, another thing about them is that when they super jump and then land on the ground they create an AOE like explosion from there size, not TOO big but big enough to help push back any campers, another thing with then is that they have larger ink tanks which alow for longer weapon use but to help balance this, there is the duel weapon thing along with the fact that it could take longer to fill up since it's such a big tank, that'd a possibility, any other buffs or debuffs would be decided after
I missed these.
