Pet store puppies come from puppy mills. Responsible breeders do not sell their puppies to pet stores because they want to meet their puppy buyers in person-and a majority of national breed clubs' codes of ethics prohibit or discourage their members from selling their dogs to pet stores.

i literally just put this comment...totally agree! I did get my corgis from a breeder and i didn't adopt them but they were the very 1st litter (a family pet), I went through a rigorous background check for me to get the first pick of the pup, they had all testings done, health records from all bloodline and asked so many questions. I had to fill out a long ass form before i got approved to get their pup. That's a responsible breeder. You dont go to the store and shop for dogs.BUT, some artistas and mayayaman just get the dogs they like as long as maganda color, hindi nagshished, hindi nagbabark, hindi makalat, like WTF. They're dogs, they're not a toy!
