As someone who lives on an island that has an ostrich farm that you can visit and has a restaurant on site that serves ostrich meat and ostrich eggs and has tried the egg, let me tell you, the ostrich egg is very meaty tasting, kinda buttery and intense at the same time, but also kinda sweet for some reason, but still tastes like a chicken. But keep in mind ostrich eggs are very high in protein and fat ( 45% fat 47% protein)and is around 2000 calories, so be careful, but they are great for people on diets and athletes, since it contains more iron and magnesium and low in sodium, rich in omega-3, fat and calcium, zinc and manganese for body growth, but less of the vitamins A and E

I bought an Ostrich egg and an Emu egg from an Ostrich ranch in Santa Barbara.
I cooked scrambled eggs with both of them. It was DAMN good. Per advice from the ranch, I didn’t add any butter or milk when I beat the egg. It was already naturally fluffy. And the egg had a naturally buttery taste. Soooooo good. It has WAYYYYYYYYY more flavor than a chicken egg

@@marz.6102I just had mine today, it is definitely more gamy in flavor and a lot sweeter than a regular egg. The egg white is also much more gelatinous than a regular egg, so be prepared for a weird texture. I wasn’t big on it to be frank.

You are not the customer they are after then. The customer is not about affordable eating but about the experience of eating an ostrich egg. Considering they only source 2 eggs a week and as they would be hard to come by most logically thinking consumers could understand that cost. Actually reasonable if you divide it in 5 = $15

Also GMO's are completely harmless, it has been used for thousands of years. Also even if you eat 40 eggs a day for example, you'll be absolutely fine, in fact the bad cholesterol (LPL) will go down, and your body wont even metabolize the one that is in the eggs fully (which is HDL, the good cholesterol) and you'll shit most of it out. TL;DR even the most injected with stuff food is completely harmless, people just like to complain about stuff they don't understand.
