My old Grohe single-lever / pullout kitchen faucet was leaking at the head and the rubber "button" so I got a new head from Grohe. When I put the new head in, it now leaks at the joint where the braided hose threads into the head. If I switch back to the old faucet, no more leak at the hose. No matter which way I place the filter basket (cone pointed in or out) I have the same problem. I'm thinking of trying to get the old filter out and use it in the new head, but I can't. Do you have any tips?

with the new head you should have received a new o ring for the hose if not contact GROHE and tell them you need a 01224000

@@kensamson3502 Hi Ken, I replaced the hose successfully and I was about to throw out the packaging when I noticed a small washer. It's not metal and its not rubber. Does it go at the tip with the Grohe 46138000 Quick Coupling (Yellow) or does it go at the tip where the pull-out spray attaches. Nothing is leaking, but I'm a bit worried. When I only replaced the pull-out spray but not the hose, I had a slow drip and I ended up with quite a bit of water under my sink after several days of dripping. Thanks
