Got a 2 door same as this, had it 3 years now, loved it at first but she's tired now, needs a bit of work but cba doing it.... but as I said, at first was genuinely a great car. Should probably do the work, might do in the new year 😅
Had a 2 door one of these in the exact same colour as this. Enjoyed it, wish I still had it but the rot was extensive on it sadly. Only dislike I had was the turning circle on it but apart from that, great car.
Me too bought new in 2003, loved it but the miss matched colour panels annoyed me and Ford said was normal. I had I think the Tech Pack so had Xenons, Climate A/C and half leather. Only thing to go wrong was the wash wipe stalk.😂
It’s underneath the car that’s important! It’ll be interesting to see how much rust exists. Get it up on a ramp and we shall see if it’s a good one or not 👍
I guess at least its an Island Car so plenty short runs ! Also is there any water in it as the tank looked empty! Im sure you mates at the Garage will rag it for you!
700 pounds I could afford that sadly I can't afford the insurance I'm 20 that would be great tho I have a real liking for the mk1 focus in general besides the saloon. My dad had two of them one was a x reg 1.6 ghia 5 door hatchback that was 15 or 16 at the time before the engine blew up and a 2004 1.8 Estate both petrol yeah think the estate may of been a ghia too but alot of memories in the x reg focus especially the gear linkage falling off towards the end and a trip on holiday took 12 hours getting back when we went down south think it was Falmouth or torquay pretty sure it was Falmouth
Hope treat this one better than the clio project. Namely properly serviced/checked and making timing was happy before killing it on Dyno when was plan as day it was not but keep dyno stuff till it blow up.
I haven't watched the vid yet but some cheap hot hates I've seen around are the citroen c4 vts The Peugeot 206 gti or a bit left field but a fiat stilo abarth as they don't go for much other than that you could get lucky with a working rx8

my first car back in the day was the blue ST170, with the heated recaros, i still regret selling it to this day. was a cracking car.
I guessed right it was a ST170. Don't kill it. Service it, clean it and MOT it. It'll be fine if its not rusted underneath.

I've got a lovely blue 2004 ST170 fairly clean only 115k miles. Clean for it's age I daily drive it but I'm itching for another V8
