Beautiful but why are all the closets in the bathrooms? Seems like a design flaw-. I love the high ceilings and balcony staircase, but not a fan of the kitchen. The placement of the bathtub was unique. Very nice home
Closet doors take up wall space in the bedroom where you could otherwise place furniture or artwork. More importantly, one spouse can shower, etc then go right in the closet and get dressed. They come back out fully clothed and ready to go to work without disturbing the sleeping spouse with a closet light and noise from getting dressed in the bedroom.
I agree! It’s just asking for future mold issues in your clothing and leather items. Can’t seem to find any floor plans with separate walk-in closets.

Texas property taxes are 18k /year at least for this home
Second that. The taxes on my home were $17k a year with an additional few thousand for MUD taxes.
I feel like I am being punished by neutral colors.
Why primary room is on 1st floor? Primary room is mostly used by young couple of the family who need privacy, aged people of the house prefer room on first floor of course, on the other hand it’s better if children room is situated next to the parent’s room especially for toddlers we need this. Why didn’t home planners think these important requirements?
