For anyone wondering the H pipe doesn’t do much when you have roush axle back I was expecting to sound a little deeper but it just made it louder, it has the same tone. Id love you post a video of mine but youtube always says “cant export video” but I’ll keep trying
I have those axle backs with a X pipe and its stupid loud. But it sounds fantastic, because its not as deep of a sound it's very reminiscent to a gt350. It's a bit too loud for me, but I like how it sounds too much to get rid of it yet lol.
I got the same set up but with an x pipe. I just love it until last week the cops pulled me over. I will pay the ticket but I'm not going back to stock.
+MoeFlaco I installed at my buddy's stop down in VA. Look up King Muffler in Queens. It's a super small shop but the guy is pretty good and easy to deal with.
I don't understand why there would be a difference between this loud exhaust and a Harley's. What's the legal issue? You have these loud ass annoying motorcycles, no offense, but cops wanna ticket this sick sounding car? Get outta here....
+Jonathan Russell not sure if the H or X pipe would be louder. i'm guessing they're pretty similar under 4K rpm with the X maybe being a little louder in the higher RPM ranger.
This setup is slightly louder than the corsa extreme catback IMO. The corsa may sound a little less distorted at higher RPMs though. I love both setups.

I agree. Shorty headers do wonders for a v6. Combine that with an off road h pipe. Finally add some gt500's or borla s types , any borla exhaust really and you'll get a really deep tone. Will sound as close to a V8 as you can get. Shorty headers make the most difference on a v6.
Joel Marrero correct, i previously had the ARH H-pipe catback but wanted something much louder. The ARH is great though, nothing but good things to say about it.
I did this on my 2019 GT and it’s so obnoxious 🤣🤣😅 it’s so bad tho, I live in a city and I don’t think I’m gonna keep it on 🤣 definitely needs valves or something…
Gale Hollis correct, I did not buy a "full" exhaust. I purchased the axleback and H-pipe resonator delete separately and am using them with parts of the stock exhaust.

What does a H-pipe do the sound compared to an X-pipe. Is it deeper and less raspy with an H?
from what i know, yes, the h pipe is deeper and less raspy. it gives a more "cleaner" sound i guess.

you would have to get an adapter to go from a 3" down to a 2.5" and that builds up back pressure and adds stress to your engine

Yup, 2.5" per CJ's website and it looked to be 2.5". Definitely wasn't 3".
