This is a new landmark for Diana because this is the first song/video she organised out of her own finances and arranged all the necessary contacts to get it done. Shot near the centre of Moscow in one of the alleys in the Garden Ring area and finished mere seconds before a torrential downpour! Even nature wouldn't dare to spoil things for Diana! 😂 In this song, I think Diana told us all that even though she's 21 now, it doesn't mean she suddenly started going to wild parties and doing stupid things! She can have a great time without acting like an idiot. There may be some irony in this, but she conveys a great message to the young people who are her fans. At least that's how I interpret it. 😊 So we see her strutting down the street in this stunning outfit, and doesn't she look gorgeous? A beautiful young lady who looks very confident! Nice reaction, Aleks 🙂 I have been following Diana for years now, and I have loved almost everything she has ever done, particularly her performances on the regional scene. That's where I think she shines the most. However, THIS one is so incredibly different from her, and tbh I don't really like it very much. That being said, I think it is really cool whenever an artist ventures out into the "unknown", which should be applauded. That doesn't necessarily mean that you have to really like it though. I have also heard a few other performances by her lately that haven't fit with the traditional Diana mold, and I have really enjoyed those; they are way up there among my favorites. I don't know why but in at least one other of Diana's well-produced English-language lyric videos ("Side by Side") there's a slight grammatical imperfection that distracts just a bit from the song. Too bad! But on the whole, this song probably has increased her appeal among young (Russian?) audiences, which is something she's been wanting to do. Thanks for reacting/analyzing this! Excellent explanation. Thanks. The unprofessional classmates did this with Diana, and I think as you said, it would have been better to work on the grammar beforehand. I also think that they just wanted to harmonize the rhyme in the lyrics and that's why there are grammar issues. Also, I think they should have worked on Dee's pronunciation of some of the words like "excuse", "jealous"...

Maybe they dare not say it, as is often the case with reactions. At least I noticed that many reactors aim to please their audience (which is fine) and refrain from any criticism, even well-intended criticism. I studied the English language and literature and although I am not a native speaker some lyrics are definitely grammatically incorrect. That is not to say that the song is not musically great, because it is. It's very well done! Now, the reasons I even mentioned the errors here are: a) I don't want to pretend when reacting and will say what I honestly think, and more importantly b) when I do have something not so positive to say, it's with best intentions. I am sure there are very fluent English speakers in Diana's surroundings who could have helped free of charge, maybe some of the friends from school. How could it hurt to make the song perfect in every way and launch her career even higher? Doesn't every Diana's fan want just that?
These “mistakes” were made deliberately, this is a hook for a certain part of the (hater) Russian-speaking audience. Also in this type of light music, bop music, such mistakes are also acceptable.
That's ok, that's their vision... However, I do not understand. In some instances it makes the meaning vague to the point of really not being able to get it. I got the gist of it, but some parts I totally do not understand (e.g. "Like all this universe"). Why not just write the song in Russian then and still make it sound this cool? Wouldn't that enrage the haters? Just an opinion, they have every right to do it they way they want to. After all, it's their song.

I don’t believe it was an intentional error, I also noticed some errors in “Side by Side”, with Brandon Stone, and that’s even worst because Brandon seem to be fluent in English. I’ve watched maybe 90% of all reactors to Diana and you’re the only one who interacts with fans on a one to one basis, so I praise you for that and I Immediately subscribed to your channel. Aside from having a unique voice, she seems like a sweet girl too. ❤ I am trying to keep up with the comments and actually reply to everyone, but I'm sure that one thing that helps me and hinders the others is that my channel is small and relatively new. I'm only saying this as the time may come when I will appear as indifferent as the other reactors seem simply due to time restrictions. I won't be indifferent, but this does take a lot of time and it should either be done right or not at all. 😊 Please don't judge the other reactors, a single take of approx. 10-minute video takes about 2.5 hours to record, convert to HD, upload and add all details (title, description, tags, etc.). This is when the video is really done in a single take and no edits are applied. I can't imagine how much time it would take if I knew anything about video editing (changing frames, sliding in images/text, making it pretty, even if it was a single take when raw). Maybe they dare not say it, as is often the case with reactions. At least I noticed that many reactors aim to please their audience (which is fine) and refrain from any criticism, even well-intended criticism. I studied the English language and literature and although I am not a native speaker some lyrics are definitely grammatically incorrect.
That is not to say that the song is not musically great, because it is. It's very well done!
Now, the reasons I even mentioned the errors here are:
a) I don't want to pretend when reacting and will say what I honestly think, and more importantly
b) when I do have something not so positive to say, it's with best intentions.
I am sure there are very fluent English speakers in Diana's surroundings who could have helped free of charge, maybe some of the friends from school. How could it hurt to make the song perfect in every way and launch her career even higher? Doesn't every Diana's fan want just that?
These “mistakes” were made deliberately, this is a hook for a certain part of the (hater) Russian-speaking audience. Also in this type of light music, bop music, such mistakes are also acceptable.
That's ok, that's their vision... However, I do not understand. In some instances it makes the meaning vague to the point of really not being able to get it. I got the gist of it, but some parts I totally do not understand (e.g. "Like all this universe"). Why not just write the song in Russian then and still make it sound this cool? Wouldn't that enrage the haters? Just an opinion, they have every right to do it they way they want to. After all, it's their song.
@@AleksReactsI totally get your point and agree, it’s just the kind of mistakes that could easily be avoided and the criticism here is constructive since, for sure we all love Diana and want for her best. I don’t believe it was an intentional error, I also noticed some errors in “Side by Side”, with Brandon Stone, and that’s even worst because Brandon seem to be fluent in English.
I’ve watched maybe 90% of all reactors to Diana and you’re the only one who interacts with fans on a one to one basis, so I praise you for that and I Immediately subscribed to your channel. Cheers from Brazil, 🇧🇷❤️🇷🇺

I am trying to keep up with the comments and actually reply to everyone, but I'm sure that one thing that helps me and hinders the others is that my channel is small and relatively new. I'm only saying this as the time may come when I will appear as indifferent as the other reactors seem simply due to time restrictions. I won't be indifferent, but this does take a lot of time and it should either be done right or not at all. 😊
Please don't judge the other reactors, a single take of approx. 10-minute video takes about 2.5 hours to record, convert to HD, upload and add all details (title, description, tags, etc.). This is when the video is really done in a single take and no edits are applied. I can't imagine how much time it would take if I knew anything about video editing (changing frames, sliding in images/text, making it pretty, even if it was a single take when raw).

I haven't yet heard quite a lot of her songs, so for me she is still newish and fresh, but then again based on your name, you're closer and would likely know that better than me at this point. All I do hope for is fewer songs with Brandon Stone, if I judge only based on the one I did hear with him.
