Getting penned by an ARL V39 and bouncing a 170 mm shell with 299 pen...looks balanced. The fact Edvin bounced the lower plate of it TWICE is what worries me here hahahaha

We need an AEG game mod where everytime you damage an enemy you hear Edwin say DAMAGE and Zwatch's groan when getting a kill

Play the Tiger P fully upgraded but with stock engine, you can use anything on the tank like equipment and apcr.

12:06 I so much agree with this. Arty is not bad, but 1) it interrupts gameplay instead of enhancing it and 2) you cannot do anything about it. You cannot shoot back.
I don't like people complaining about artillery.
In my opinion, it's supposed to fight off top tier tanks, or fight completely balanced tanks which we have at least 3 existing per match because we are talking about Wargaming, so when none of your teammates can deal with them for obvious reasons, artillery can help.
Surely most of the people who complain about artillery all the time own some or all of these balanced premium tanks so they expect to run over the free to play players, which luckily can and should be stopped by proper artillery focus.
When I play artillery, I'm like if you chose to play a fairly balanced premium tank, and maybe you are top tier too, don't be surprised when you get focused down by artillery. This is the mentality all the arty players should take into consideration, not the "I kill this low tier useless enemy tank".

@@futurova To be honest, if I play with my T92 and in the enemy team there are things like Obj 279E, 907, SuperConquerors or Chieftain of course I will focus those things, those are game breaking tanks so of course I help nerfing them.

"We hate artillery because we can't fight back." - some german soldier on the receiving end on the eastern front getting his brains blasted by the Red Artillery (ca. 1944).
Top tier in a Tier 8?! WHAT SORCERY BE THIS?!
After playing World of Tanks Classic and being reminded of how things worked back then, I think there's something from it that can seriously improve the game: If they're not going to remove arty (which would be best but would have serious challenges), then: Revert Arty to the original design: multiple ammo types (which WG is apparently considering), smaller splash radius but higher damage, and most important: TRACERS.
TRACERS allowed artillery to fire counter-battery effectively, if enemy arty didn't move after every shot. And it gives the team artillery knowledge where the enemy arty is, which can be passed onto the rest of the team for arty hunting. The higher but tighter arty damage means they damage less often but can kill in counter-battery and also importantly, when shotgun defending. I've faced off against a lot of attackers and even hit and sometimes penetrated them. But short of a very damaged attacker or an ammo rack explosion, it doesn't kill them and my arty then always dies. Smaller splash radius means arty has to work at hitting its targets and targeted tanks that keep shifting, especially changing course, etc., have a chance to almost completely avoid arty damage.
Wargaming actually had a better artillery system before they tried to "fix" it.

I really wish these marathons last way longer just so that everyone actually has a chance to earn these vehicles or make em shorter but they last longer

I think the best conception of marathon from wargaming so far for me was the marathon for t44-100 . It didnt looks impossible like the marathons in the present day . You still had to play a lot but you were able to make some schedule of your dailly goal and not invest so much time of your life in it , but hey... WG must be feeling like they were robbed in that time and I think the reason that so many people got it for free was the end of those concepts of marathon . Which I really miss 😢
I grinded the St-5 and it was very hard. But i have so much fun with it and it is my first real Premium.
I will take part in the Marathon - with the caveat that I won't buy the thing with discount if I don't get there I will just take the rewards along the way as a bonus
I would have liked this machine more years ago (T110E3 was one of my first T10s) but, yeah, I'll throw some time and money at it.

Hey guys, you forget that any new tank is a arty magnet because arty players want to test it out. All players shoot the new guys especially if they are slow. This effect wears of in a couple of weeks.

In a sense, it's better to describe this thing as a t8 'merican badger. The super structure is nigh invincible just like the badger, save for the cupola. The t28's super structure isn't as good.
The guns of the TS-5 and the badger are very different though.
