Honestly I'm conflicted between a call and a raise to ~110k in Steve's spot after the 4-bet. If it was just him and Dwan it's an obvious raise ofc but with two players behind it's much more close.
I know LAG is the new cool thing but no human being will ever be able to adequately explain the logic behind spending the cost of a 3-bedroom house in Oklahoma City to play 8-3 off on a K-A-10 board
thomas had at best a top pair or a set if he kept betting on flop and turn. checking allows thomas to put in one more value bet on the river except he had absolutely nothing. if tom bets the river, thomas would have folded anyways. tom betting on river after just calling flop and turn looks nutted and he is probably only going to get a set to call. if thomas has a set, hes betting river because like you said no board pair and no flush
I would love to see a table of Airball, Tesla, Steve and this Thomas guy. The 4 worst poker players I have seen at these stakes. Throw in that Goofy guy too and that’s a wrap.
Dude. He's out of position first off. Secondly...that is really a standard check. You keep his Bluffs AND his value bets in. If you just lead...you make no money from his bluffs...because they just fold.
It was a much easier fold for Keating to fold after 3 consecutive raises with 2 of those raisers following him. Tom was last to act and trying to get a read for future hands, but he knew within 4 seconds he was never planning to call.
