- Its time for more Virgin Trains in Train Simulator 2016, this time we are driving the Class 90 (DVT) Pretendolino unit, on the WCML North between Glasgow Central to Carlisle. I love the livery on this train (very sexy). This is gonna be a long journey to buckle up for the ride!

Being from Glasgow, I love the Motherwell train coming into central at the start of the video.
The Pretendolino was hired to replace pendo 033 which crashed at greyrigg back in 2007
I enjoy watching your long videos as long as I have time in my busy school schedule. I am on summer holidays here in Australia and I am gonna watch the whole thing. Keep up the good work!

Just to say the pretendelino is now working for abellio greater anglia on the great eastern mainline as extra stock, love this livery on the dvt and mk3 coahes much better then the aga one, keep up the good work man! :)

The pretendalino was for a class 390 that was in a derailment so they leased a class 90, 82 + mk3 stock to replace it
I watched the video in one go and the 15mph temp speed restriction was on a short section of track while you were still coming out of Glasgow Central. Because am Scottish, I would love to see the West Highland Main Line, especially on a cold and FROSTY morning but I would also love to see the rest of the East Coast Main Line between Dundee and Aberdeen with going through my local station of Arbroath.

Ellington Street junction was at the start of the video when you were departing Glasgow central it's the junction before the tunnel. I know this because this is my local line.

Great run, just done the same one myself and I also love the look of the 'Pretendolino'. I can only assume the SPT class 318 comes with the AP scenario pack as I certainly haven't downloaded it either, yet it's there! Oh and the weather looked cool, some might say 'Frosty' ;)

Hey Qwerty if you do plan on taking an overnight train. Get the bunks, the seats are uncomfortable. This is a rule for sleepers in general.

Eglinton is in Glasgow, just on the approach into or out of Central Station. The speed here is always limited so you didnt miss anything exciting
There are 2 West Highland Scottish route in train simulator.
The 1st , West Highland Line extension is the route you have covered before and is a beautiful route going from Spean Bridge to Mallaig via Fort William and includes the token block radio system. This is a Thompson Interactive route, also the makers of WCML Trent Valley and has been released since October 2014.
The 2nd, West Highland line south is a longer route of about 100miles going from Helensburgh on the outskirts of Glasgow (25miles out) to Fort William. This is also a splendid route and I would highly recommend it though is more sparse scenery wise due to it being a lengthy route. Released August 2015. Developed by Milepost simulations the makers of the Canadian Mountain Passes route!
If you want to get an idea of what any route is like before you play it, you can search videos by MattPeddlesden on CZcams and view before you buy!!

I miss the Pretendolino set now that it run on the Great Eastern Main Line, apparently Abellio Greater Anglia still have it in the Virgin livery with their logo put on top, but they may have changed it by now. I'm surprised your Class 90 did not get caught in Storm Desmond... :)

I saw in my Glasgow to carlisle route that at track 9 and 11 the buffers are midway the platform while the red lights are at the end of the track...
thanks oh I started playing train sim recently but I am going to contact dovetail for a bright future in train sim after well say no more we all love trains train sim

when i drive this scenario i have problems like graphical error if i put the camera in a certain angles and i i got some longitude latitude problem pls do you know how to fix it

For future reference, can't you disable the DSD by pressing CTRL + R or something is it? I know you can in the Class 90 GEML one, but annoyingly not in the Class 91 or 92

+Qwerty Afro When I got the Train from Armstrong Powerhouse and, played it in Train Simulator the coaches weren't there, I've tried the Extra stock but the coaches still are not there. Any help would be appreciated.

That could be the problem with CZcams analytics it probably only shows initial view retention and probably doesn't account for people returning back to finishing watching a video, but I hope you are enjoying it so far
