- With BMW's future going electric, the first-ever #BMWi7 launched in the US last year with the modestly powered #i7xDrive60. For 2024, the M performance division has turned the wick up on the new #i7M70, making this #Electric7Series the most powerful production EV ever made by #BMW. The 2024 #BMWi7M70 produces up to 650 HP and 811 lb-ft of torque with standard AWD from two electric motors. It can sprint to 60 MPH in under 3.5 secs and has all the luxury and technology that we first fell in love with when the all-new #BMW7Series came out in late 2022.

BMW has finally made a world class flagship and people have taken notice. I was stunned when I found out that the 2023 7 Series outsold the S Class for the first time since 2005.
Not with an under 300mi. range it hasn't. No driver should outlast his vehicle. Wake me up when they hit 400mi. At that range I'll have zero anxiety and get tired long before the car dies on me.

Car looks amazing honestly. Mercedes looks old now. This makes u turn ur head and go what is that. It looks super expensive and high class on the road. Plus the luxury is next level. It was o ly a matter of time honestly. BMW owns rolls royce. They just needed to collaborate more and create an affordable luxurious car. I saw one blacked out on aftermarket rims and it looked fukn godly floating on the road

Love the recent upload of so many BMWs after the recent test event. REALLY hoping you get a chance to test out the new Z4 w/MT fairly early on, (think production starts early Mar after retooling the line at Magna Steyr), as we’re strongly considering pulling the trigger on one during these last 2 MY of its production. If I were to get a 7 series..this is what I’d go for, the m70, extremely quiet which is what you want from a ultra luxury car, and all of that performance…3.2 secs to 60 for such a big limousine is insane…as well as the handling. Also, those folks in that X7 beside you at the light were really interested in that I7 haha 14:57

I noticed that kid too - Glad Sofyan "gassed" it when the light turned green 😂 I remember a guy in a new Dodge Viper around 1994-95 pulling up next to me and my mom at a red light when I was a kid in our Corolla and he did something similar, I never forgot how fast that thing seemed when it pulled away AND how awesome it sounded, which that last part is something this BMW wont have the same bragging rights to unfortunately lol.

Given what the 7 series has become at this point, BMW should just create their own version of a Maybach division, add a few more over the top features to the car and rename the 7 series. Because this definitely isn't the "company executive sedan" that the 7 was once designed to be.

@@arielmischa8136 You guys are missing the point. 1) Rolls Royce is a separate name plate/company that's now owned by BMW as a subsidiary....not a luxury division of BMW 2) Alpina was always a high-performance tuning company that eventually was acquired by BMW...it's not an uber luxury BMW equivalent division to Mercedes' Maybach.

Basically replaces the now dead V12 and Alpina B7. I can dig it.
I may sound dumb but I keep thinking the made the car look this way so it would not eat it into RR sales. Think about it everything inside is perfect , Ride quality is not on the same level as the RR but still ultra premium luxury , if they had a sexy front end my god.
Seriously if you got this you really don’t need an RR , it does the same thing for 3x-5x Less
One thing to note that unlike Tesla, bmw typically underrates their ev range.

Blasphemer. The whole point is not to replicate an ICE vehicle. The continuous torque is an EVs uniqueness, and part of why they're performance is superior -- the don't have to cut power to change gears.

Yeah the price on that top model (M70) is too high. I'll assume that is why BMW increased the price of the xdrive60 model for 2024. That decreased the gap between a wee bit but $45,000 up charge for what the "M" offers is a big step up. (Too big, imo.) Almost no additional equipment, the option list is identical.

I'm seriously considering an i7 as my next car. I have a fully loaded iX50 paid in cash. My spouse said sure but only after we invest $500k just like we did with the last car purchase. Also, no debt, every must be paid in cash. It's good to have some delayed gratification. LOL

291 mile range before you run the a/c and engage in various stop/go driving, Computer screen not integrated into the dash, no hard control buttons for climate/radio, 5,900 lbs, 3.5 to 60 mph and $200k. N.O. T.H.A.N.K.S.

that's it boys and girls, BMW has done it! We can all pack our stuff and go home! not only is BMW selling you one of the most expensive cars to keep on the road, they are now selling you the *ugliest* most expensive car to keep on the road. Seriously, Pontiac Aztec looks amazing compared to this thing. Rammstein called and they said they wanted their Morganstern back! A star so ugly that it only comes out at night.

I think grills on EVs are silly. Car manufactures need to come up with a new paradigm to represent their distinctiveness. I do so agree with the blackout trim. Chrome is so 2000. I love the bright and airy upholstery, but the infotainment display could be better integrated into the dash. I"m also not really sure why the German car manufacturers haven't yet adopted the rear-view mirror camera. A glaring oversight for most SUVs and especially for this car.
Rear seat space is cravenness, and the arm rests space is abundant. Also like the body colored brake calipers -- a nice distinctive touch. Nevertheless, I think the phone charge should be under cover, to prevent theft.
On the cons side, a few things I hate most about EVs is the sunroof that doesn't open (what's the point), and the lack of a true spare tire. Also, no heated and cooled cup holders, but at least they're covered as they should be. Two trends that are really going in the wrong direction. Now, how much piano black does this car still have?

Sofyan, by now, you should know that EVs should not be brake torqued. Unless it has launch mode brake torquing it makes it slower since it flumoxes the traction control system.
Lest we forget, slower than an EQS AMG. Ugly as hell on the outside overblinged on the inside. NOT the ultimate flagsip EV. Maybe for BMW...😂

There is nothing wrong with this car that a facelift of that hideous front can't fix. Fix that ugly face. Everything else is pretty much exquisite and reeks of luxury. If you like the look, it's winner for you.
