@@Secreto31126 While that's true, I have to imagine that occasionally it might get tiring to hear every day from multiple people that 'you sound emotionless', is all. Maybe I'm over thinking it, but I don't think its worth the easy thumbs up to potentially be one more dude adding to the feeling of alienation/occasional annoyance. Not expecting you to change your mind since you're out for internet points, but its something to consider.
@@Harutemu lol, I don't care at all about the upvotes, if more people likes what I write, more people will have a smile in their face. After all, that's why we come to see DF. Plus, CZcams's likes are useless :)
Also, I don't think DF really cares for the comments. I know, he is a human, he also has feelings, but, first, I didn't write the joke to harm DF feelings, and second, after years of watching his videos, I think he doesn't have the personallity to get mad about them. What's more, I think he might laugh of this jokes. In the end, we are just strangers on the internet.
I get your point, and although it could be a fair argument for other creators, specially for smaller channels, I think DF is different.

The purple “googely eye” fish is a dunkleosteus It lived back before dinosaurs ever existed, and has giant protective “shells” on it’s head.
Ok i've learned that it wasn't a dunkleosteus. I don't actually know what sea predator that is then, but the dunkleosteus looks alot like this one. But i'm pretty sure he gets a dunkleosteus later in the video.
It actually lived in the devonian period which was way before the first dinosaurs ever existed

@Arita Akimichi yes, trilobites are similar but it is not. trilobites are flatter and are seen in more shallow waters.

the bug is an isopod, which is similar to a pillbug (roly poly)! it is very real, marine isopods live on the bottom of the ocean depths striving off of whale corpses if i remember correctly. (just found out it’s a trilobite, which is similar but i’m an idiot)

@Arita Akimichi as i replied on your other comment it is not a trilobite as they are flatter and are in shallow water, it is true that there are dunkelostus (prehistoric armoured fish) in the game but i doubt it’s a trilobite as they only eat algae.

The "sea wood tick" also kn known as a trilobite they were very well armored but had very low mobility in water but could walk on the bottom and land yes the were real and big about 2x the size of a horseshoe crab and quite abundant on beaches and would try to eat anything that they could get there limbs on
I thought that was just an arthropod, but I haven't played this game so idk what the names are. Trilobites are pretty fascinating though I have a fossil of one.

The purple tadpole is called a Dunkleosaurus. They're extinct but basically in place of teeth or baline, they had big boney plates for biting things clean in two. They grew very large.

They grew a normal size actually,the previous estimates were wrong, and they were more shaped like a goldfish
The dunkleosteus is brown too, the “purple tadpole” is a close relative though

2:02 Yes they are, and they are most certainly not a tick, although I'm not 100% sure what is, it looks like it can be or a sea giant isopod caused by a phenomenon called the Deep Sea Gigantism from slower metabolism, due to lower temperatures, so therefore organisms live longer and can grow large. or a Sea slater which these little critters are related to the woodlice you find in your garden and play a very important role on rocky shores.

Around 3:30 those glowing things from the pillars are a food source. That fish is probably there because it is intended to eat those on the food chain, hence doing no damage. The little non-working 'fish' are feeder items like crustaceans.
I love how the thumb nail has a penguin in the second dimension and then it evolves into a giant in the third dimension

Hammerhead sharks' heads are shaped like that because they have eloctroreceptor array in their heads so they can detect any movement underwater from beyond visual range. All sharks have that AFAIK, but it's especially good in hammerheads.

The hammer head shark is actually one of the fastest arrow dynamic sharks. this game is about 10% accurate to the physics of nature the hammer head shark is i very VERY strong shark.
