The African penguin is listed as Endangered on the IUCN Red List, one of the 5 of 18 penguin species with that level of concern. Here at Living Coasts we have 76 penguins, 63 of which are African penguins. They all love the sun and have a blast with the enrichment that our keepers and Penguin Patrollers provide for them... especially bubbles!
