- Join us as we head to Ocean Beach Pleasure Park located in South Shields for a short visit. As we were in the area for The Hoppings Fair in Newcastle Upon Tyne, we decided to stop off at this small family amusement park for a few rides.
As it was a weekday the park was only operating limited rides however we take a look around Ocean Beach along with sharing on ride POV's from Ghost Hunt, The Fun House and a classic Scrambler attraction! We also take a look at the fantastic laser maze that's located inside of the arcades.

It makes me happy to see you at Ocean Beach. I've been going there for many years and I have a lot of good memories there. It looks like the Ghost Train has reversed its direction since I was there last. It used to go the other way round through the outdoor section first. Great vlog!
The coaster used to travel on the Dutch fair circuit! It's visited a nearby town a few times, but it got sold to somebody at the end of the last season. They went to Asia with it for a few weeks after which the coaster was opened in this park. Can say it's seen more of the world than I have :D

Welcome to my home turf! I worked there over a season part time and thoroughly enjoyed it! Be sure to check out South Marine Park next time, there's a bunch of vintage steam trains! I also work near the hoppings at Gosforth Civic Theatre!

It's not to bad there, 1 thing I like is that with some of the flats is they are always changing it up whenever they can getting new stuff in whilst keeping some of the more popular rides
Watched this vlog when it was released, and had the urge to visit again, so I did yesterday! It’s a fun little park with a pretty good selection of rides!
Plus, Crash Test was open so got to ride it again!
How immersive! I was on South Pier today and I went on skyscreamer! Pleasure beach was rammed.
I absolutely love this park, not been for a while now but will have to return again one day.
That jumpin frogs ride known as 007 used to be at flamingo park in hastings!
Shawn if you ever come back to shields you'll have to drive over the Lukes Ln super airtime metro bridge. it's off the A194 in Hebburn total rush

We live about 20 minutes away from here and 5 minutes away from the hoppings and love making videos on these fun fairs. Nice information your sharing.
Been there today and all rides were open, great family day out. South Marine park across the road from the pleasure beach has the boating lake and a miniature steam railway. Steam railway was £1.50 per person which was good value and not sure how much the pedal boats are.

South Shields is lovely, it's a shame you guys didn't try Colemans Fish & Chips, it's only 5 min walk from Ocean Beach...best in the country IMO

Fun vlog as always. The sign for Crashtest is in Dutch. Alex did a very good job translating the sign though. I actually have been on Crashtest a few years ago when it was on a local Dutch fair.

My home town live like 5 minutes from here . The ghost train was made in house from scratch a while back also the sizzler will be rather fast as it has different gears and isn't automated it's all operator controlled I know this as I used to work it . Next time you visit get in touch with the owners first let them know your making a vlog and I'm certain they will give you some complimentary rides and talk a bit more about the place

£1 a ride tonight, unfortunately that coaster is gone and now is a log flume in its place, the best ride now would be Jamie Clarke’s freak out👌that ghost train is pretty awful though 🤣

I know that you said that you are going around the little parks and fairs for a change. Weston Super Mare now have a Pleasure Beach on the sea front. It is called funland. They do wristbands. It looks small but looks ok. I was there on Friday but it was closed. The rollercoaster looks fun. It looks like the old Jetstream coaster from Rhyls Pleasure Beach many moons ago.Just found out the coaster at Funland is a new Wild Mouse ride. Not the spinning cars. Closer to home there is Stourport On Severn Fair but they are old rides and no big coasters.
We're heading to Weston in a few weeks and look forward to visiting!

have you been to Brean lesser park it in south west just 15 mints from weston they have rides on the grand pier as well an thats in weston tow is my local park i think you will enjoy . loving this Vlog i love these little park there all ways grate fun and not so busy as the bigger parks

cool are look out for the vlog i live in Portishead it about 20 mints away so it my local park. I love there indoor roller coaster at brean leisure park called astro storm it is Amazing, it it was my first indoor roller coaster in dark.

I know it’s a big ask but can you go back to portaventura anytime this month? I love your portaventura vlogs and can’t get enough. I have been to the park twice before and will be going back this month. Would be great to see another vlog from there
