I love the "Meh" page, what a great idea. I always struggle with how to get all of my reads into one journal (365 last year) but I love that idea of just throwing all the my 3-stars onto one page and focusing on my favorites.
Yeah it’s awesome when you only want to really focus on the best or worst books of each month
Girl, you say you don’t like how some of your spreads turned out, but I think you did a great job! Way, way better then any I could do. My reading journals are full of stickers and torn up paper because I don’t have any sort of gift for drawing/painting. 🍑
u can paste the tickets ,postcards ,wish cards letters,pictures in your journal and u can make it a memory journal rather than a reading journal if u think u dont have anything to write or paint.
You honestly changed my life suggesting making a dot grid bookmark!! A game changer for setting up my 2023 journal. I love your journal videos, your creativity shines through, and so many spreads look amazing

I’m doing a reading journal for the second year. I’ve widdled down my tracking spreads and shortened my reviews from one spread each to 1/2-one page and it’s so much nicer.

I have discovered that if I divide my manga reading from the rest of my reading...well, let's just say "less" space is taken up. Because in all honesty I'll read a whole manga series in a day or 2 or 3...

I wrote every book and movie review in my journal last year and this year I am thinking of changing it to a best of and worst of the month spreads. I am still trying to finish up December because my printer died on me the week before Christmas. So annoying.
My husband bought me the Always Fully Booked journal by Little Inkling Designs and I am obsessed. I am so excited to work on it this year, though I am also terrible at keeping up with things like that.
