In the beginning, i was stunned by the beauty of Geike Arnaert's voice, and the performance is just great. Then it came the Glory Box tribute in the end, a tribute to Portishead, something i wasn't expecting at all. I came.

Geike was, is and will be the one and only best Hooverphonic's singer ever. Thanks to her and to the band for the concert in Antwerpen last friday, and thank you so much to the band to be reformed once again. 😉
It's simply amazing, what they can do, how she can sing, it's pointless even trying to explain, It's something else, it's like, they walk a thin line between music and religious experience :D
Geike and Beth Gibbons's are one of those voices which are perfect for old school orchestra trip hop....pure magic once you close some tones...amazing!
I totally agree with @edgar587 - Geike and Beth have given so much magic in trip hop music from 98 to 2008 - Noemi Wolfs was a very good choice to follow after Mrs Arnaert and I will not call her a surrogate...But Geike singing mad about you..that is simply IT

I've just recently heard this song and I can't get it out of my head. It's gorgeous and sounds like the theme to a Bond film.
In the middle she starts to song a different song by a different artist called glory box and that was in a bond movie.
