As one of the 3 members of the original Rangzen Zhonu group, I want to thank and compliment you all for bringing out this excellent acoustic version of our song in this age of keyboard and “manufactured” modern Tibetan music. FYI: The correct title of the song is ༄། ང་ཚོའི་བོད་ཀྱི་འབྲོག་པ༎ There is a possessive pronoun ( ང་ཚོའི་ ) because this song is a dedication TO the nomads of Tibet. Literally translated as: Nomads Of Our Tibet. Where are you guys located? Please post back here.
Tashi Delek Chophel la, Rangzen Shonu album was the first song played on my dad’s first tape recorder, lots of my childhood memories are associated with your album especially “ Nga Tsoe Bhod Kyi Drokpa “. Then you guys just vanished after this very promising album and to this day, I wonder what happened to you guys. Wherever you guys are now, may you prosper in health, wealth and spirituality. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Greetings! Once again, please keep singing the acoustic way. Please do NOT bring out songs that are keyboard-generate with monotonous beats and Made-in-Nepal. I am tired of them, literally! Every now and then someone says there is a new song. All I see is that it is only a different (probably) singer with a song that is keyboard-generated beats and tunes. BTW: Rangzen Zhonnu disbanded soon after first album 1987. Currently, I am here in the US, Paljor is somewhere in Canada and Tenzin Chophel died about 15 years ago. I still try to revive the first ever modern Tibetan song: ང་དང་ དང་མཉམ་དུ་ འགྲོ་, composed with my late friend in 1976 in Darjeeling. Please keep safe. Hope to meet you all someday.

It is so evident that your album really left a huge mark in the psychosis of Tibetans that so many years later, we still have remake of your songs and all the nostalgic memories it brings flooding back. Tashi Delek Norbu Chophel la, our Tibetan bands like Rangzen shonu n Jji are the only Tibetan bands that inspired me. You are absolutely correct about today’s music sense and scenario in our community, just one crap after another, no originality, all made in Nepal with that same rhythm. That’s why two years back I composed and uploaded a couple of songs which lot of people might not have heard, n it doesn’t matter, but I feel proud of myself that at least i recorded them with human fingers playing guitar strings n other other instruments and that voice is from human vocal cord, and it was recorded in Tibetan studio. Just to let you know that there are few who follows on your step. Bhoe gyalo
