Hmmmmmmmmm, this is crazy because in 24 minutes or less Shane has been able to convince me my previous dream RV (conqueror 490) is no longer my dream trailer. Due to Shane THIS is now my dream trailer and I NEED it more than ever. The solar package is phenomenal. How can anyone not be blown away with this trailer. Someday I will own this trailer 😊. So this is the real deal one stop shop off the grid travel trailer.....I would totally love to see the ROAMER II version with the bed made like the 2024 Jayco Feather Lite/w a slide out on the opposite door entry side or back with the two runners there. OMG this is the ultimate and the solar panels on top are Epic!!!!!!!!

After watching this channel for well over a year now, I have decided that there is another item that should be included in the "Fully Loaded" ROAMER 1. A set of Two Way Radios. So many times the crew goes out on an adventure, and when the terrain gets complicated, you have a driver and a spotter, and they need to communicate. IMO, this would be another excellent addition to the fully loaded compliment of accessories for this unit!

Oh man I don't want to replace my Colorado but this camper is making a damn good argument to upgrade to a full size truck so I can pull it. Currently looking at an OGT Expedition 2.0 but this would be much more liveable.
Love almost everything about this except for I am not sold on the dry flush toilets yet. I still would prefer a 30 gallon black tank.
This is a great unit. I wonder if you could have the awning be an automated awning for those of us who are short and unable to reach even with a ladder? As a single woman this would be something I would love to add to this unit, and my only suggestion!!
Louis it safe to sleep on top of all those batteries and stuff?😂 It really is a very nice rv. But I don’t do any off roading so I probably won’t buy one of these but if I were alot younger I’d probably buy this in a second and go have fun like I used too!!

What is used to cut down the smell for the dry toilet? and how is the bag removed and replaced?
Beautiful trailer and really nice with the thought out stuff it comes with. Why don't these trailers have bunk beds for extra people or is there some sort of aftermarket solution for that?
Because the blackseries hq19 doesn’t have the bunk bed but the hq17 has😅

I love this trailer EXCEPT for the fact that the awning is not automated. As a single short female, this is a deal breaker for me. If the awning was powered, you would have a sale.

Where the plates sit, in that dado, why wouldn't one cover that specifically for the reason of plates not being dried completely before being stored again. Just a thought, seems like an area that will be problematic over a short period of time. Otherwise, definitely an amazing unit..

Also, GearJunkie did a review of the X145 (my buddy has an X22) and mentioned the fact that it has no microwave/oven. What would the manufacturer’s response to the lack of microwave? I’m in a neighboring state, but I’ll let you know when I’m coming that way!! Thanks.
This video says a lot about which overall brand ROA prefers after all the testing and reviews. I suppose the only other thing I wished you would have covered for the true "first time" buyers, is what if any Truck upgrades would you have to do if you were to purchase this unit. Also, do you still offer the ability to switch out the toilet to the Cinderella incinerator toilet?

@@terrytexas8257 call them, yes they do mods. truck upgrades shouldn't need anything if you have a 3/4 ton truck. 1/2 ton Should have a towing capacity of 12k+ (for payload) and obviously a Electric brake controller.

Beautiful rv. I put this on my wish list. Only one thing. I would move the axe to a locked storage. Last thing I want is a potential weapon hanging out in the open for some crazy person to use on me or the RV..

Can I confidently tow this with my F150?
Oh, and if I can tow this with my F150……how well will my F150 be able to handle off-road towing this? I have an F150 Tremor, so it’s extremely capable off-road and I fully understand towing will reduce that capability, but I’ve never tried to tow some this heavy and do even mild off-roading.
We spent some time in Moab with TFL truck towing it with the new Raptor R and it did amazing. They towed it over I-70 and said it towed amazing. TFL has a ROAMER 1 and will be tow testing to with all new 1500s. Only issue was a squat. You would for sure want airbags on the Raptor R.
We can't tell you that without specs. There are a wide range of towing capabilities depending on which F150, year, and gear ratio. 2022 will far outperform a 2012 in towing because of changes Ford has made.
Ford is great about having towing guides on their website going back years. Look up your model, wheelbase, differential, etc. and it will give you your tow rating. Even more important is your payload capacity and hitch capacity. Tongue weight is what limits most half ton owners.
Will you tow short distances on flat terrain at sea level or in rockies? F150 also doesn't have stopping power of a Super Duty. I just prefer towing with Super Duty. Look up numbers and you might be able to tow it if you don't load it with cargo but the experience won't always be pleasant.

Why do you build with wood inside?? It will eventually squeak like hell, especially when exposed to humidity. Why not do an HDPE interior build???
