Hopefully his contribution will be remembered by fellow citizens, and Proton success not be wrongfully attributed to the other Prime Minister.... after 2 weeks of CKD X70 driving, including long distance on highway. For such a price and being a SUV, its ride and handling surprisingly good. NVH better than I expected. However, UI for info cluster, can be improved. The sound quality of the sound system, despite of having a subwoofer, it sounds very thin. Low frequency is either not there or increase just low level noise when increase the bass (it is written 'base' in the info cluster).

    1) China's roads even in rural areas are in much better shape than Malaysian's
    2) Fuel in China costs about 3x more than ours, hence the lighter foot
    3) Speed traps are abundant in China, although they have a 120km/h speed limit on a road that is empty most of the time; drivers tend to obey to the speed limit as demerit points could be awarded if violated. Hence, once again lighter foot.

    Even if it was priced at RM160k to compete head-on with the likes of the CRV & CX-5, it would still put up a hell of a fight due to the features and refinement you're getting. At the actual price of RM120k however, the only question left to be asked is... are those plastic shiny badges on the grille and steering wheel really worth paying RM40k more for?
    To some, yes it's worthwhile shelling out an extra 1/3 of the price of the X70 just to get a different badge and the elevated feeling of pride from having paid more. Me... naaahh....

      But, since this car is still new in the market, can't say anything how it gonna burn our wallet on the long run.
      Personally though, (as a person who always do long distance driving) cabin noise and comfort, do come first before handling. It is not that we gonna do uphill/downhill on Karak everyday :)

      If you were to get Honda better get Mazda CX 5 or X70..Honda totally crap

      @hafrizshah4937 Před 4 lety +3

      Personally I'd go for the X70 based on its refinement and price. But if outright space is more important to you, then the CR-V is a good buy too.

    This is Geele Atlas, find 10 differ no better at least three)))) everything inside the cabin from Geele Atlas from the dashboard to the door handle. Why do you need such a clone?

      @haydaremmi6258 Před 4 lety

      Chinese company bought 49% of proton. And they say this is geely with some changes. Since this s geely and proton's joint venture sale in Malaysia, they use proton logo. We know what is this car. And ur comment about cloning doesn't make sense here.
