- Here's "Flowers Blooming in the Church" performed on my pedal harp, extended in honor of the recent FFVII 25th anniversary celebration! I have to say that this song resonates with me more than Aerith's Theme, probably because I associate this with the dreamlike encounter between her and Cloud, whereas her actual theme plays when Sephiroth turns her into kebab.
Kebab....yum. That reminds me, when I was in college I had a part time job in the technology support office at the foreign language building. One of highlights of that job was walking across the street to a really good kebab place at the university food court. It should be noted that I have absolutely zero credentials in tech support. I'm pretty sure I was hired because my boss likes Final Fantasy and we'd just sit there and chat about how to pronounce "Tidus" while everybody else did all the work.

This is a fantastic cover! I started playing this and it attracted the attention of my 8 month old daughter so I started singing with it to her and she let out a cute little squee and proceeded to chomp my nose. FF7 fan here as many are. I have been playing this game since it came out and it is great to hear people like you making covers that relax the spirit. Thank you for putting your time in and allowing us to enjoy these things!

@@Harpsibored I’ve been thinking about this quite a bit. How remake ended, how Zach was walking back with cloud. How they incorporated fate as a means of connecting the original story and the new one. something is going to change. I believe we will see it… but I think they have a trick up their sleeve. What do you think they plan to do with rebirth?

It's healing slowly, thanks for asking! I started physical therapy last week. I hope to be back to 100% in the next couple of months. In the meantime I plan to do more extended covers (since they're from existing recordings), simpler harp songs, and maybe some FF discussion videos! Please feel free to let me know if you have any suggestions. People also want me to do a Q&A video. I have no idea what the hell they want to know lmao.

Aerith Kebab huh? Sephiroth gone cannibal? 🍡🍢 Speaking of kebabs, it's summertime and time to get that grill going outside, one of these days where it ain't over 100 degrees where I am. Sweating by just standing still is never fun for me. Fortunately though, air conditioners are the life stream here. Nice arrangement and extended version. Very cool and enjoyable. The length provided gives me enough time to wash these dishes here without having to touch buttons. What a treat! You're awesome. 😁😆
