Chivalry is definitely not dead here. My Grandmother taught me well. I deliberately go out of my way to put that extra foot forward even with a stranger. It feels like a moral obligation if you're a man to show underneath that you are indeed a gentleman, however you're not doing it because you feel obligated... You're doing it because you want to. It's either apart of your personality or it isn't. That's the true difference. You can do all the right things, but if there isn't love behind it, it's merely for show and it becomes meaningless. 😊💕

However, I’m reminded of a woman who scolded me for doing that very same thing holding the door for her to go in ahead of me. I’ll never forget her words. In an angry tone she accused me of holding the door for her to go in first because I wanted to check out her butt. I was shocked she said that to me. I never thought about it from a woman’s POV that they could feel uncomfortable with that action. Today’s women have very different views on chivalry.

My motto is ladies first and women to me take first priority. One thing that rhymes very well is happy wife happy life but in reality, at least to me, it has always been the happier the women the happier my life! 👍🤗
