- The Sabattus Disc Golf Facility has challenged nearly 100 women this weekend for the 2016 United States Women's Disc Golf Championships. Our Pro Women played their first round on The Eagle Course and then back to back rounds on The Hawk Course for rounds two and three on Saturday. Today it all concludes on it happens on the The Eagle Course.
Sarah Hokom maintained her lead during both rounds on Saturday but Madison Walker is proving she belongs on this lead card and wants the biggest title of her career. Paige Pierce isn't going down without a fight and Holly Finley loves her chances in the woods so we know it's still anyone's PDGA Major to win.

Terry, your friendship/relationship with all the players allows you to get candid comments between holes that truly makes your coverage stand out. Thank you.
It's nice to see someone actually smiling and having fun..I hope we see more of Madison in the future.
What a fun round to watch. It felt like there wasn't even a score coming into it and this round was a single point in history and every hole won the tourney. Great playing ladies. Thanks for your hard work.
Thanks to you too, Terry. I'm so glad when the FPO gets the attention they deserve. I understand why the MPO gets so much coverage, but it's a tragedy that the FPO doesn't get equal coverage. They work just as hard. Keep up the good work.
Thanks for covering this tourney Terry!
The fellas, and their attitudes on the course, could learn a lot from these ladies! Well done, Sarah. I hope to see more of Madison in the future! And Zoe Andyke, too. More top ladies coverage, please!!
Thanks for the great coverage Terry, was great to meet you out on the course during the event. I wish the background coverage/audio was softened during your conversation with Peter; some of the exchange was muffled by the lead card applause. Otherwise the coverage has been wonderful, thank you for all your hard work! I hope you enjoyed your stay in Maine, and look forward to more events coming to our corner of New England.
i was pulling for Madison, especially on that hole Sarah double bogey'd on, Madison had a chance to close in. Good coverage. Terry, you gotta get the Central Coast Disc Golf boys on to commentate, that can complete these events.
Great coverage of a great tournament. You probably have to be a disc golfer to appreciate the undercurrent of drama, but I'm glad I am one. That was very enjoyable and made even more so by the camaraderie of the women playing.
I love that Madison putts with so much confidence. Good to see people running it.
Congrats Sarah...well played
Love to see the ladies rock the course. Hole 17 was outstanding all around and Madison Walker has really improved on her forehand throws. A great round.
Was pulling for Madison Walker... Wishing she could overcome the deficit.
Congratulations, Sarah Hokom! You CRUSHED IT on Hole 14! We went ballistic watching it!
Yay! My morning is now complete! :D
Okay so I'm a few days late and lots of dollars short, but congratulations Sarah! :-)
I sure hope to see the Disc Golf Guy back shooting rounds like this in the future. We need someone filming the ladies.
Thank youu!
Hole 10 the art of the scramble
The tourney official did a very good job on the ruling for Paige on hole 18.
Savage rollaway for Sarah. I would've been mad.
Nice to see these girls hit almost as many trees as I do.
congratulations my dear Facebook - friend Sarah 💖
Holly with the crush right off the bat!
Given the layout of the course, not surprising to see forehand dominant players doing well. Are there any lefties at the top of the women's game?
14:21 Wow. I've never seen anyone stretch a "straddle" putt by sitting down with legs fully extended! I might have to try that. That may be a useful shot!
Great coverage. Thanks for all the videos. On hole 10 (listed par 4) at the beginning I count 5 strokes for Madison Walker (not counting the fact that you showed her tee off twice), but she's credited with a 4. Is it just the "E" that was wrong? Is the rest of her score correct?
Hole 10 is a Par 5. Madison scored a 5 there as recorded on the official scorecard. You can see all the individual scores by visiting www.pdga.com/apps/tournament/live/?TournID=24343&RoundID=15681
I accidentally showed Madison driving and then a clip later I somehow showed her drive again. It was an editing error after 6 consecutive days of editing and funny enough, MOST people didn't notice it. After the link was already out there in a bunch of places I consulted a few people about taking it down, re-rendering (about 30 minutes) and then re-uploading it (about 60 minutes) and then re-publishing all of the links. The 10 second fix didn't seem to outweigh the effort in this case so I left it. Sorry about the confusion and good eye for watching!

Terry: We want to thank Innova
Sarah: Throw Legacy
I agree! If you don't know the MAW, take a tip: buy stock in this girl!
Needs commentary
TEAM LEGACY KEEP IT UP GREAT JOB HOKEM
Dearth of Empathy The putts simply weren't falling for Paige on this day, though.
everytime she taps her hat or whatever that crap is, she resets her putting line and misses low often..she needs to stop that routine in my opinion, makes her less consistent.
max heflin I absolutely agree with you. People will defend it with "well, it's working for her; she's one of the tops in the world." You and I, Max, know that defense is meaningless: she might be the undisputed number 1, and perhaps undefeated, if she would simplify her putt. lol
Saw two interviews where she said she's done it like that since she was a gal and her dad taught her. My question would be: "Paige, how high was your Dad's world ranking?" L:P: That said, we all agree, we love Paige P., like, maximally. She's the bee's knees.
Holly is a great player. Does she have any forehand, though?
I think like a bunch of players (such as myself) she mainly relies on it when absolutely required. I know I'm in a world of trouble if I'm actually busting out a forehand. Mine are NOT pretty.
Know the feels, Terry. My forehands are usually followed by, "Damn... That's why I don't forehand." :D
thediscgolfguy Here, here, Terry. I get you. But, seriously, how do you dogleg right? Annie an understable disc and pray? lol
It's called a Mamba. :P
If Sarah learned even basic backhand shots like hyzer or straight she would be unbeatable.
Nice to see a drama free laid back round. Notice who wasn't on the card? Just sayin
14:24 can you really sit down on the ground and throw?
Yes.
As long as you have no supporting points in front of your lie and there is at least one directly behind your lie (within 30cm).
i was under the impression you had to have one foot planted.... funny how the rules get adapted by people. thanks !
It has to be a supporting point. This time it was more round then a toe or foot but still counts as a supporting point with the playing surface. Also, harder than it looks to pull off!
thanks terry
Why are they allowed to drive sideways off the pad on #13? Play the way you're supposed to play
There are few things in the world more tedious, uninformative, and uncomfortable as a sports interview.
