The fact that Chan grew up as the maknae of trainees for so long and then suddenly became a parent to many chaotic sons is very amusing. They roast him but they adore him and 100% respect him. Stray Kids means so much to Chan, his members are his family, and he's a menace sibling too so he probably has mostly himself to blame.

Han and Changbin were his first Stray Kids before Stray Kids was a concept. They also spend the most time together between producing the music, rehearsals, living together (plus Hyunjin) and working out together
now imagine Chan being in the production trio with Changbin and Jisung AND living together in the same dorm. He has to deal with those two 24/7 lol
But yes, you're right. Bang Chan is the leader and they are also like a family and while they roast each other 24/7, in all seriousness, Chan is the best leader and the rest of Stray Kids look up to him as the guiding figure but Chan also mentioned that he couldn't do this without the other members so they all leaning on each other for support and guidance.

My son, who is 6! runs around calling me "old lady" just so he can hear me say "HOW DARE YOU" or make "the face" where I squint my eyes. He starts roflhao like it's the highlight of his life. Meanwhile, the struggle is real. I feel your pain Bang Chan.

They're joking alot with chan but if he gets serious, they're also serious with him. i love their relationship and i think its because of the fact that chan chose his members himself.
Straykids' story has so many details like chan moving with 13 y/o to korea alone to fullfill his dreams but then has to wait 7 years until he could actually debut. Those 7 years were really hard for him. He himself said that skz basically saved him.
Just imagine being 13yo, moving to another country, leaving everything behind and then struggling for 7 years.. I think he said once that he almost gave up but im glad he didn't.
They basically grew up together which makes their bond even stronger.
Straykids is not just a kpop group, they're family.

Bang Chan one time said he wants to be with the members the same when he's home in Australia and wants to care for them as brother how he's with his siblings. That's why the members can do a lot of jokes together and it's not only Chan they're roasting, but also each other a lot. That's also why I.N has the right as the youngest to eat first and also gets to hold the award they get first as well, since in Korea the basic manners are the oldest first, but in skz it's always maknae on top 🤭. Chan really did well when choosed to use his aussi manners as the oldest in the group. They're too comfortable with each other which I never saw in other groups. Bang Chan, Han, and Changbin are all in 3RACHA (the production unit) and they’ve been producing for years. Thats probably why they are more comfortable teasing each other! Plus they live together still!

I’m the oldest in my group of friends, and when they come for my age, I just respond with “the kids are acting up because they want mommy to spank them” lines of thought. It usually shuts em up for a bit. 😎

I love watching all of your SKZ videos, but this is the one that I recall most often. You've shared bits of Korean culture that most of us don't know and that is so nice for the assist. In this video you talk about the age thing and when I see the clips (all over the place, especially thanks to Seungmin, lol) about the age, I remember it. A part of me laments that [I suspect] a good percent [because I can't say most] people [Stay] are probably just as oblivious as I was/am about culture things until people like you came along and don't recognize the significance of the roast and we laugh at it only at face value. This is my long winded way of saying "thank you." You are hilarious, respectful in your appreciation of the impressive SKZ, and you are appreciated.

Felix is the cute polite child, the rest of them are troublemakers lol. I think Changbin and Han tease him the most because the 3 of them live together and they've known each other for a long time, even before the survival show (in 2016, the same year Changbin joined JYP). But it's so funny that he never gets mad hahah they know which topics are okay to make fun of, they're just a big family. And as you said, they do rely on him a lot, he's like their comfort safe place:)
