Marina and Steve - A Fun and Elegant Wedding at the Peabody Essex Museum in Salem, MA.

Marina and Steve met during the most unlikely of times, May 2020, lockdown! True to the time their first date was over FaceTime. It lasted for hours as the two realized there was indeed an instant and very real connection. They planned their first “in person” date for the very next day. Of course as they were in lockdown and restrictions were set for dining, their options were very limited. After a walk together along the Esplanade and getting caught in a rainstorm (too romantic!) they headed to the only place they knew was open for a little outdoor dining; Wendy’s drive-thru! Again, as they sat in the car together in the parking lot having their first dinner date, they knew they had found something special.
The two chose the Peabody Essex Museum after looking at only two venues. They were thrilled with its elegance and charm as well as its unique creative atmosphere. They were excited to bring all of their family and friends together for the celebration and finally have a chance for some of them to meet for the first time. The ceremony took place in the East India Marina Hall, a light filled room with arched floor to ceiling windows along the wall as a backdrop. The design details of the day were flawless with Marina's vision of a black white and gold coming to life alongside personalizations like Steves love of cars showing up as the matchbox escort cards waiting for guests after the cocktail hour.
After a spectacular entrance above their guests in the atrium from the balcony above, Marina and Steve took to the dance floor for their first dance. The night went on as all were treated to loving toasts, parent dances with songs that celebrated the Russian, Italian and Irish heritage of the bride and groom and finally the very full and lively dance floor!
