I'm so thrilled with NC UCs, and I say this as someone with a 20+ year old account who already had some just because of how long I've been around. I don't feel like I have to worry about my account being targeted anymore for having a lot of old UCs on it and I can just enjoy them and get some that I didn't have back in the day. This feels really accessible and the entire concept of them being "skins" opens up so much potential in the future. I've always preferred the old artwork and I don't personally use a ton of wearables, so for me this has rejuvenated the concept of pet collecting. I can't wait for more colours to release in the future, plus some other cool stuff like possibly super old species artwork or even unreleased/new stuff. I think they can do a lot without worrying about having to draw wearables to fit all these skin styles.
Since three colors were released, I hope they release the others in batches of three as well, for the sole reason that robot, maraquan and royal can be grouped together with the alliteration of "Monarchs, machines and marines" XD I also hope neo completely cycle out all current colors before adding more. None of this "faerie is going out while royal comes in, but grey and darigain stay while maraquan and plushie have to wait" bull. I also suuuper hope they bring back the original baby artwork as well, despite only... Two(?) Baby pets keeping their unconverted status after the website update. I was so mad as a kid when, after a year of saving for a baby pb, my lupe got converted a couple months later, and the glitchy introduction to customization meant I lost the spotted bandana that came with her color. I sent a ticket to neo back in the day, but they never fixed it and my poor girl has been naked and cold ever since u_u)
Are you even an adult who plays Neopets if you don't break out the spreadsheets?!? Thanks for the look at the merch and the deeper view of style studio!
So happy with how this ended up! I wish they had explained things better ahead of time and maybe given PCers a bit more time to digest what would happen... but its been so much better overal compared to the first conversion lol. I am so happy to see everyone excited about their nostalgic pets!! I'm personally so happy to have aninations back, even if all the items arent working properly yet haha.
It's difficult to revisit NQ1 after playing NQ2 with the smaller map, tedious chat dialogues etc but you do get used to it again. I did the same where I got my gold NQ2 trophy and revisited NQ1 to complete on the next two modes.
You were using an Owls value tracker for some NC items in one of your previous videos, like it showed the numbers in purple in your inventory. Where is that from? Managing my inventory and pricing everything out is such a pain!

I was so against not needing a paint brush before the system went live but now that we've all used the system and see how it works properly, I agree that it works best as it is. It's actually really nice not being locked into a colour.
Hi Kevin! Video suggestions! Could you make avatar and trophy collecting tutorals? For the trophies in particular I'm most confused about the flash game high score trophies. So the scores get reset on the first of the month, and it's easiest to try right after reset?
I also caved in and bought the random ones I have so many darigan pets now lol. (Luck wasn't on my side, I got like 3 darigans in a row, but at least a grey yurble one I wanted so badly and for the faerie hissi which was also my favorite I ist bought the more expensive one so I can choose. I try to trade the darigan ones but it's so hard and I'm an introvert with social anxiety so not the best thing to have for trading lol)
I thought that they didnt make painting the pet a requirement bc they wanted to introduce the RNG element but that could be countered by being able to generate the skins with the species and not make them equippable until the pet is that colour like you can buy mutant nc wearables without owning a mutant pet
Also to note, the female eyes display as male eyes on the pet-pages. Their eyes are fine on the user lookup though. To me this is the biggest problem!!! All my girls look so surprised! Why are all the male eyes so wide-eyed! This need to be fixed soon! --- Love your videos!
The only thing i was sad to see that was not added was the unreleased faerie eyrie... we got the hissi and the draik but why leave the cute purple and light blue griffin.

TNT never communicated -trought a official channel- to let us know what happened and when we could expect the pound to open so we had to...wait and refresh just to find it was still down. Its frustrating. Trading is a BIG part of the neopets experience and without it, many had nothing to do on the site
