    Thanks! V6's get a lot of hate but I was looking for a cheap sports car and wanted to see what people think of the v6 stang. Great job!

      it get some hate fore sure. It should be taken for what it is. Compared to a v8 or even a Cobra that i have now it's a huge difference but still a fun car.

    I just bought a 94 5.0 today. No substitute for the v8 sound. Nice car though!

    My stock 1996 v6 was able to spin both tires every single time, just by accelerating. Even in 2nd it’ll spin. It does have a new engine and new trans. But I don’t think that’d make it a tire smoker. Not sure why it spins at take off it struggles with grip, but it corners very nice with upgraded shocks and suspension

    • @Kim_Alexander
      @Kim_Alexander  Před 3 lety +2

      I could manage to spin the wheels as well on it, but I would have to work with the clutch. Perhaps someone chawed the gearing in your rear axle, that make a huge difference, I had stock 2,73

      Im a English guy from the uk and I have owned 3 of these v6 mustangs and I have owned 2 v8s. If your American I am very jealous as you guys have some amazing cars. I have never had a stock v6 that both wheels spin. I might be wrong but I don't think the both wheels are Meant to spin. The v8 do but v6 usually a conversion job. I'll be honest though it wouldn't bother me about wheels spinning you can get a v6 with a twin turbo kit and it will go as well as a v8 all day long power to weight ratio and focus on suspension and anti roll with a decent set of tyres

      @l333boa dog slow car my friend bought a 1998 v6 sn95 blue. Oh boy he couldn't keep up with us in it always falling behind he finally got himself a real car a 2003 v8 new edge way better and more fun car all around.

    • @l333boa
      @l333boa Před 29 dny

      @survivalhh2995 not always about how fast a car is, for me it is simply just that shape of mustang I love. Mine sounded well for a v6 😊 unfortunately I sold it and bought something completely different but would definitely own another

    • @survivalhh2995
      @survivalhh2995 Před 28 dny +1

      @l333boa fair enough I love the sound of the 4.6 on these sn95s and the new edges very much so. You can make them sound mean as fuck. Though even the v8s of the sn95 and new edges aren't really fast in this day and age *under 300 hp* still good cars. I would still recommend finding a v8 gt in a manual trust me especially since you have already experienced a v6 it will blow the socks off that and you will appreciate it more trust me.

    Kim Alexander, I bought a '96 GT 5 months ago. I considered the V6 as well but couldn't find one with a stick shift. Nevertheless thanks for the video, it had definitely influence on me buying one. Did you ever had issues with leaking head gaskets?

  • @captainlupo5516
    @captainlupo5516 Před 2 lety +3

    It's nothing to do with power the reason it dosent burnout is because only one wheel will spin. LSD my friend look it up and it will change everything thing you can also buy aluminium heads and a kit that would replace the cast iron one pushing it from a 150 bhp to 300 for around $1,800 👍

    Why are you making up Ford product codes from your head? SN96 does not exist!
    WHAT IS AN SN95 MUSTANG?
    The SN95 Mustang is the fourth generation of the Ford Mustang, introduced in 1994, and used Ford's Fox chassis platform. The SN95 Mustang spanned between 1994-2004 and included the popular "New Edge" Mustang from 1999-2004.
    WHAT DOES SN95 MEAN?
    SN95 stands for Specialty/Sporty North American Market Project #95.
    S = Small Specialty Market That The Mustang Competes In.
    N = North American Operations
    95 = Sequence Number In Ford's Numbering System For Approved Programs
