Watch the UI. You will never be disappointed. Knowing them from scratch will be on another level. Like gehlee she is not that good in dancing but the way she performs now really you can tell that she improves. And kotoko ang yoona also deserves the spot in Universe they show now in every performance. All of them really improves a lot. Like gehlee said in an interview they are like rainbows. They are all different but together they are all beautiful. Love this group.
One of the kpop group in recent memory that their live performance is WAAAAYYYY better than studio album. If you watch UT, you know how damn good they are performing live, with no autotune etc etc. Its hard to sing and dance at the same time.

I also agree that Whatchu Need is a banger. 😀 It's my favorite out of the songs, it's closer to my kind of pop style, and it's a full English song so we can sing along. 🤩 I wish UNIS will make either a performance video or special video (amateurly shot MV) for it. At least there's a choreography video for it which I liked.

As for their ages, most of them are high schoolers. Their leader, Hyeon-Ju, is the oldest at 22. Their youngest, Seowon, is 13 but has a surprisingly mature voice, years of public performance experience, and she's among the top 2-3 vocalists in UNIS. (I'd say she and Elisia are the main vocalists.)

I keep seeing that UNIS will "be active for 2½ years" maybe via contract. Maybe they have to prove themselves to be money-makers in order to extend their contract. Their exposure on Universe Ticket helped a lot. And if you haven't seen it, unfortunately the show, on the official channel, is heavily fragmented into HUNDREDS of short clips, and isn't subtitled in English. (There were fan accounts that pieced together the episodes and subtitled them, which is how I watched them, but supposedly they're now getting hunted down & taken down.) But at least the individual performances can still be enjoyed, without really needing subtitles. I'm guessing the playlist you got consists of those performances. And some of them had really good song choices, great singing & dancing, with the judges & seated contestants screaming or looking shocked (my favorite aspect!). Two of UNIS's songs, Dream of Girls and Dopamine, were created as competition songs used for the later rounds. Also be on the lookout for Whateva and Rush Hour, two songs that I like so much, I rewatch/listen to them at least once a week. 😻
One thing about UNIS is they are serving vocals. The album is my whole summer personality haha. It's sooo good. People need to know these gems of talented young stars!

One of the few groups who's not afraid to sing live LOL they are insanely talented that their official main vocalist had a few lines this album(pretty sure she would get her moment soon since they will release 2 more mini albums this year)

@@nylawalker1629 eli is the official de facto main vocalist and it was said by them personally on the first official interview as a group. However for this mini album, its seowon whose the star. The next mini album for sure it will be eli. Whateva, rush hour will be there for sure.

you should check their performance of dream of girls in Afreeca tv where they showcase their vocals and also their interview on that show. Not only do they have good voices , each members' personality are all unique and they have this x factor which draws you in.
