Steel wool scrub will leave scratches on the stove. Instead leave some liquid soap for 5 minutes and clean. Every day cleaning will save lots of trouble
I daily try to keep my stove clean and neat but my in-law when she makes tea she always keep flame high and spill ,when cooking she keeps the laddle on stove, she doesn't clean immediately after use....as a ocd person I need to strain myself to clean and keep neat...she doesn't keep min efforts to clean..
same situation with me sister. i clean up immediately. but for so many years my mother in law was so lousy about cleaning that gas stove looks horrible. i will try the method shown here. hope for the best.
Even better: cook with induction. Better for indoor air quality, doesn't use dangerous explosive/flammable gasses, it's better for the environment, and it's way easier to keep clean. (Sadly it's financially not possible for everyone to cook on induction, and there's no shame in that 😊)
@reyanshx i know that but in cities like jalgaon and Dhule electricity goes everyday. I know in big cities like Pune Mumbai it is possible. But they have gas pipelines nowadays so cooking on induction is cheaper than gas
