- These good deeds were done by Chicagoans. In 2016, a TV meteorologist helped a woman who clung to the side of a building so she wouldn't blow away on an extremely gusty day. In 2018, two toddlers were rescued after they were caught dangling out the window of an apartment building. In 2021, a musician was reunited with an instrument he’d lost on a train. Inside Edition Digital Andrea Swindall has more.
The world is full of good people. If you can't find one, be one.🥰
I love ❤️ your quote! Thank you!!
Agreed
Definitely
I've heared that statement before
He was pickpocketing her.
Props to the man who knew his hat would probably be blown away and still helped.
The two babies hanging from the window stopped my heart😢
How tf them babies get like that. They oughta take em out the house at that poiny
Chicago has the nicest people to help others in need.
We sure do!
Also the dangerous hoods
@@food090no, thats your city
And the highest crime rate🤗
@@777denmark actually it does not. You can check any list and see it does not, Karen.
What a great teacher!❤😊
Yeah, that brought a tear to my eye. So sweet.
Bless that teacher carrying her student on her back! ❤❤❤❤
That teacher really has a heart of gold. Her soul just makes her SHINE. 🙏💖💙
Finally good to hear some positive news coming from Chicago instead of news on crime and political corruption.
Its unfortunate that thats the only thing you all hear about Chicago because its really one of the best cities in the world.
@@blackcherry6877 one of the best in what ways exactly? I'm actually from Chicago by the way
@@bracebrooks967 world-class city with some of the best museums, restaurants, entertainment, and universities in the country. A melting pot with jobs in every industry and citizens of many, many diverse backgrounds from around the world.
@@blackcherry6877 that's true, but it's sadly over-shadowed by it's bad reputation of high crime which is a problem all-year round, but especially in the summer.
@@bracebrooks967 and every city has it. Your point?
There is still hope for people out there :)
Yupp! ❤
Ms Helma is truly a guardian angel
With all of the horrible things we hear about daily, It’s Great to hear some good news. It’s good for the soul❤
Woww. Much respect to people who help. May Jesus bless them.
The flute story was so heartwarming!
I love good people 🙏😇💖
Finally yall show the good side of Chicago
Let's not forget the model citizen that nearly let their 2 baby's fall to their deaths even with all the commotion outside
That’s what I’m saying that’s a long time to not check on 2 two year old babies 😒
THERE is STILL much good in Chicago.
I'm in California, and every person whom I met in College, who moved to CALIFORNIA from Chicagoland, were always Extremely Nice.
What a nice thing to say... thanks!
The teacher is so sweet!
Imagine how many good deeds like this go unnoticed. Thanks to everyone who makes an effort to spread kindness in their lives ☺️
Mrs Helmer is an angel
Last one was beautiful!!!! 💖💝💝💟💟💕💕
God bless her.
Whoa, hope DCFS at least is checking in on that second situation. Glad there were people ready to help but especially for the brightest bulb who brought the ladder!!!
Omg 😮crazy ones glad there was people who ready to help ❤
Lo más bello de esa nota... ¡¡LA MAESTRA Y ALUMNITA!!... Que bella vibra... 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍

We need more good news like this.
Good news for a change.
That special Ed teacher is a saint.
I just LOVE hearing these BEAUTIFUL stories regarding ABSOLUTELY AMAZING human beings doing such WONDERFUL things for one another!!! ☺️
BLESS ALL OF THEIR HEARTS!!!
💯💯💯🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻❤❤❤
This video got me all in the feels!!!
Don’t mess with chicagoans
And we don't mess with you🤷♀️
I have to be honest, I never thought that Chicago had so many nice people
Every city does.
Me either... cuz I live here. 😭😭😭
The highlight of the first story is that "the manila envelop didn't fly away"... really? How about she didn't fall down and break any bones instead due to these good Samaritans?!?
Believe me when I say there is much more good in this world than bad.
HR would be glad Flutey was found Too 😅 👍🏼
Honestly, surprise, there was no racism for him. Calling that black man, a brother. I love when we can all come together
not everybody is racist loll
Where was the damn guardian of those kids?
Humans can be capable of the most powerful kind warmth compelling actions but we chooae to do harmful hateful destructive things 😢
Be the change you want to see in the world.
❤❤❤
Actual wind is NOT why Chicago is called "there windy city."
There should have been mention of what those children’s parents were so busy doing while they were dangling precariously for so long. Child neglect.
I used to live in Chicago long ago. When I was pregnant and trying to walk to work, one time I had to grab a light pole and hold on!
Chicago baby's always playing in Windows 😂
❤
0:06 one sheet flew in the beginning
The one where the 2 kids were hanging out the window
I live there well I used too
That's what it's all about
I ❤Chicago
This video has been brought to you by McDonald's and Verizon.
That was her divorce papers lol
Hi
I'm from Chicago there's a bunch of crimes but not all of us do crimes
Mustve been a slow day at inside edition
Id didnt even know the word chicagoan was a thing lol.
0:40 Hope his hat is okay
The world has gone crazy no denying that but there’s still some good people out there that’s what we need more of
Poor guy lost his hat…
Not called the Windy city, because of the wind, but I get it bc it goes with the name.
umm correction it's flautist not flutist
💀 Old people 💀
The Windy City is about politics, not weather
Only if *you* insist on making it that way.
Chiraqian*
You know it's really that bad in ChIRAQ when the MAINSTREAM media tries to really save their face
No flute should cost that much, tax payer money reimbursed him through the police department paying the pawn shop
You do not have to pay to get stolen items back from the pawnshop.
My man’s lost his hat. Nobody helped him
Why didnt they do all this for Chicago's massive homeless population?

Let’s highlight somewhere else that people aren’t KILLING each other for recreation…..
