I love conventions. I went to one not too long ago and I had forgotten how much I'd missed them because it had been almost 5 years. Just the energy and the excitement, and fans getting excited together over things is awesome. I cosplayed and gave out small little tokens from the series and people's reactions were so priceless. And artist alley decimated my wallet as it always does. Also I have a theory that at conventions I never buy figures on the first couple days, because all the stores put out things from the latest series, and then when stock is low and you get to the final days you find characters from older series and thats when I end up buying figures.
Haha conventions are a different beast and it's fun seeing old and new anime fans gushing over the series they love! 😆 We found that most booths had newer stuff like current prize figures and nendoroids but lacked on scales... Luckily, our booth had a ton of scales so it was bumping! 😝

My last one was at CONQUEST here in the Philippines and got to see Michael Reeves and Lilypichu in person. Also spent quite a bit on independent artist prints and stuff. Really cool!

I loved those One Piece and Spy Family art pieces they were fantastic. You are so lucky having gone to a convention, I missed my chance this year but next I will for sure go to one.
The convention was fun, didn't film on the second day but maybe next time! 😆 Just remember to hydrate and bring cash! 😉

OMG thank you for sharing the links for all the artists and it's so cool to finally know is Zzyzzyy is. I've actually seen their artwork of Zoro several years ago, and I loved it so much i used it as my profile pic for a long time, but I had no idea who the arists was! Going to ordera lot from them now lol. Sounds like it was a super fun comic con and this haul was really fun to watch!

Love con hauls, you can find a lot of great artists there! Especially love kehasuk!!!! 💖 Own a lot of his art and I def recommend looking out for his giclee pieces. The quality is amazing. The more val artwork you get the more they jump on the top of my list to buy their works. 😹
It was fun filming and sharing this with everyone! The more these 2 make, the more I end up spending! 🤣🤣🤣
This past July,was my latest con season,i went to both AnimeExpo in L.A. and to Comic-con at San Diego,after 2 years of no conventions,i was glad i was finally able to go to these,and i had a good time,got myself lots of figures,specially these 2 Bunny Ram and Rem price figures,that are actually prety darn good,and i dont think im the only one,since they're cheapo and prety decent,they where hard to find in both cons,but i was able to get them for my Ram and Rem Shrine!
animeexpo,was prety darn crowded tho,i wasnt even able to fully walk trough the artist alley from how much people there was,i still was able to get some Genshin Impact prints,wich was prety darn big at the convention,i also got a exclusive Joker(from Persona 5) figure kotobukiya was selling
as for comic con,that was way more relaxed,way less people too,bought a few gundam and plastic models(just getting into thos hobbie now too),some manga,a couple of shirts
and while not at the con itself,i also got myself the 1/8 scale figure of Sirius and the pop up parade of my persona 5 waifu Makoto!
so in short,i had a good time at con season,and im happy of been able to go to cons again^^
I'd love to go to AnimeExpo and Comic-con! 😆 Maybe next year I can head down and maybe meet a few of you guys! 😄 Hooray for Con Season! 🥳🥳🥳

I have never been to a convention before but I wanna go so baddd! I wouldn't trust myself around the merch stands though...I think I'd empty my bank account buying every cool thing I liked the look of lol. Instead I'll just live vicariously through you! OMG Thank you! I'd been trying to figure out that artist for a while now! I actually own a bunch of prints from zzyzzyy! Cowboy Bebop, Death Note, Squad 10, Kill La Kill, Black Star and Kid, and Assemble (the original set that we knew of titan shifters). I now need that first years of JJK, the Bungo Stray Dogs, the FMA, and MHA FIGHT one... As you've said, "gomen, wallet-kun" LOL *bookmarks that site for later*

Kehasuk is amazing! Iirc he's based out of Southern California. I was first exposed to him during the 2016 Anime Expo and the following year he was the key artist for the 2017 Anime Expo. HIs pins are also fantastic!
I've seen his work a few years back at a convention but he ended up selling all his large prints. Glad my patience paid off and I could grab them in person! 😍

That art looks amazing. Yet still very expensive, man i feel for you guys in Canada. Everything seems super expensive. I can get art like that at conventions for 10 euros. Then i consider Europe already very expensive but aside from importing stuff, stuff at conventions is usually good priced. I have been to 6 conventions this year, plan to go to 11. I have one next saturday. And some of these conventions also have afterparties. Super fun
Haha yea the pricing is a bit crazy sometimes but the Canadian dollar is weaker than the Euro so that might balance out a little? 😆 11 cons in one year is insane, I'm pooped after just this one! 🤣🤣🤣
@@DTTCReviews 25 CAD is about 18 Euros. It's less expensive but still on the high side. 11 cons doesn't mean i have to buy merch everytime. I usually buy most art and prize figures at the bigger (comic) cons. Prices are better there than at most smaller anime conventions. The anime conventions are also more pricy than the comic cons

@@DTTCReviews as a follow up, Kehasuk reopened a 2 hr window for ordering on their website earlier today and I got myself 3, which came out to 300 and I feel it will be worth it! Now, just hoping they will reach me in one piece. Also, too bad there isn’t any One Piece 😅 up yet.

Yo man! Just a question, in your room tour video I remember you saying you haven't displayed your bunny figures yet cause you didn't have a display case for them. Was just wondering if you ended up finding a good one to display them in? Got my first bunny figure recently (Shion) but shes so big that she won't fit in my detolf 😭😭
Yooo congrats on the Shion, mine just arrived too! I'd be careful with Detolfs because the weight capacity isn't the greatest. I'm currently building a display that should fit the bunnies safely and dust-free... 😅😅😅 You could try a Billy bookcase and add some glass doors or a custom acrylic door? 🙃

Yea the amount of people may be overwhelming but definitely worth going at least once! The last day of a con is usually the most chill and has the fewest people so I recommend going then! 😆😆😆
