Aur aarti baat karna chahti thi sattu se.. lekin uski didi ne nhi karne Diya agar aarti ki shaadi ho jaati aur uske baad uske in-laws usse Jo vo banna chahti hai nhi banne dete toh uska sapna toh adhura rehh jaata na!! Sattu bhi kuchh nhi kar paata apni maa ke saamne!!! Sattu bhi sahi hai ki usne baat kyu nhi kiya lekin aarti ki bhi isme koi galti nhi hai!! Uski galti ye hai ki vo baat nhi ki bas!! I know love is important but career is way more important than love!!!

She did the right thing but in the wrong way. She and her sister created an imaginary situation where Sattu failed to convince his mother, rather than dealing with the present situation. She should have at least informed him so that his family wouldn't have been humiliated in front of everyone. He trusted her, but she didn't reciprocate that trust. I'm sure if she had shown trust and told him the whole situation, he would have at least tried to go to extremes against his mother. It doesn't matter if he's her son; what matters is his stand for righteousness. Suppose even if he'd failed to persuade his mother then he would've no option left other than giving up his love as he wouldn't want to be an “obstacle” in her dream for his own sake and greed. Sattu is that type of person.
Pure movie mein, sab ke sab galat te kahi na kahi except Sattu (Satyendra) jo dusron ke liye sochta aur jeeta hai.

Why was it okay to ask such a huge dowry? Why have they normalised this? They wronged her and her family. At first asking for such a huge dowry. They were only after the money.
And then he said she can work after marriage. And then later finding out she cant. So that was absolutely wrong. And still in the whole movie she has been insulted along with her family. They’ve justified all this.

The point for this movie according to me :
• The mother of the boy ,sister of the girl were the one responsible for this whole dowry and marriage cancellation.
•the pain that the boys got was nothing as compared to the what happened with girl.
• the hype for an officer's post was in the mind of the girl's sister when she cleared mains but when she got filed for corruption cases and the boy was doing enquiry , same girl's sister says that "ias ban gya to kya kuch bhi karega " .
• according to me this the ending of movie with both getting back together can be satisfactory for the people who are just searching love story , but not balanced with the morals .

If they were really Against dowry then why Didn't they cancelled the marriage as soon as they heard the proposal from the guy's family??? They weren’t forced at all, everything was happening acc their own wishes. The girl's family are needed to blamed the same as the guy's in this dowry case
