- Sometimes things just don't go according to plan. That's just part of life especially when you live on a boat. We arrived in Georgetown, Exumas just in time to get on the struggle bus! One thing after another just keeps going wrong!

Yes, the struggle is real, but the struggle is necessary. Without struggle we don't grow (whether we want to or not). We are both in that proverbial boat.
See you tomorrow, cheers from Dallas.
Spent the last hour catching up on all the videos. 1000% worth it 🙌🏼
Check your filters, Back-flush the feed system, and check your back-pressure and flow rate. that has fixed several past water maker problems.
Another great upload. See you in the big blue somewhere
Katy and Craig are awesome (and lots of fun!). You guys too!
Thank you!
I guess with all the issues and expenses it’s worth the freedom. I admire you guys.
Thank you!
Oh man! I hate that everything went wrong for you 🙁. Tomorrow will be better 😊😊
All your 120v outlets on the boat should have ground fault interrupt protection. The plug on the unit is superfluous. Replace it with any 120v plug.
The key point on your statement is "should" unless I installed it myself, I don't trust electrical safety systems on my boat. But I'm also an anal retentive professional engineer. 😂
I always keep a spare pair of flops in my dinghy for the inevitable time I forget them.
Interesting video, saying our water-maker is down too, going old-school filling our water tanks with containers we fill ashore, presently anchored in Rock Sound, perhaps seeing you out there.
8.4334 lb/gal actually - Remembered that from my oil field days - Stuff memories are made of, kids.
What I’ve learned watching sailing channels: something is always breaking 😅
The plug you purchased is a NEMA 6-20P which is 250VAC 20A. The one you needed was NEMA 5-15P which is 120VAC 15A, If plugging into an existing GFCI receptacle or protected circuit you'll be fine with just using the NEMA 5-15P. Note: when replacing GCFI receptacles make sure to use those designated with WL (Wet Location as in Outdoors) in the part number. They also sell "Marine Grade" GFCI receptacles but the quality of the "Stainless" components are pretty bad and not worth the upcharge.
Just being able to get through adversity is part of the journey. Y'all are doing great and it is a learning daily to see how life is treating you. Stay Safe my friends.
Time to learn how to repair the water maker. Maybe a hi-pressure pump?
@@adventurecrews And I have never seen one😅😅 in person. Just watched cruisers for two years.
A lot of the fun of watching the ctuisers is them struggling with the troubleshooting and repair of those problems. At least for me. Whatch Ruby Rose, Zatara, Nahoa, Starry Horizons, Curiosity to name a few.
The struggle bus is real! Ty Ty for showing and sharing ALL of the facets of this lifestyle😉
For having a rough day, Emily’s ‘frustrated’ face is still adorable. Now time for me to do some Happy Baby pose.
when everithing goes wrong ,you sit and get drunk
Emily kudos to you for walking in town barefooted! I would’ve stayed in the dinghy, lol.
What a generous and handsome sailor to loan you those jerry cans. 😂
That's a bad day. At least you're a beautiful place
oh nooo! :( stay safe out here with this weather .. and dry lol
Me either, Emily. I hate dirty feet too!!!
Newish to your Chanel. Love it so far.❤❤
Emily! I’m with you. I can stand dirty feet. I’d have had to of gone back to the boat. 😂
Haha dirty feet are the worst!
I would have to buy some flippy flops!!
Do you spare lo pressure and hi pressure pumps in spares? Learn how to relplace them guys. Part of sailboat ownership guys. No repair shop between Panama and French Polynesia.
@@adventurecrews I am glad you understand what me then. You didn't seem to do that in the video. I have been watching catamaran sailors for 2 years and one of the things I was interested that when something failed their videos was always focused on that failure. That was why I made my comment. I have enjoyed your videos and look forward to watching you guys repair that watermaker. Side issue maybe you might look at your spares loadout.
What if your dog fell in the water while running on deck when you went ashore? I would think the dog should be locked inside. And it seems like things are always breaking on boats .Boats are nice but a huge headache in my opinion.
Just out of curiosity, in addition to making fresh water, does your boat have a black tank? Do marinas have a black tank dump location (like RV parks do)? Hope that Cole gets the GFCI plug fixed soon.
Yes, live aboard boats have a black tank and most marinas have a pump out station at the fuel dock.
Do you have 1 episode that you are SAILING? If yes...where do i find it?
Soe...where is the film????
think... Self Syphoning Hose....
That whole bathing and shower thing is way overrated!🎣😃
