My mom is Mexican and as a kid she'd sometimes make me these things called "molletes" where she'd take a bolillo roll, cut it in half, toast it, butter it, put beans on, then mozzarella cheese and put it under the broiler so it melts. Then we'd eat em with salsa. They were really good!!

I’m an American and recently I’ve started a Friday night tradition with my two sons of having beans on toast. 1/4 of my ancestors are British. Just channeling my inner Britishness. It’s quite delish. Nice and quick and easy. Just gotta toast and butter that bread and cook those beans down until they are nice and thick, yum.
Nah mate you got the wrong recipe. You gotta put cheese at the bottom of the sauce pan and fill the beans on top turn on the heat and let the cheese melt and bubble up from the sides and then you use a wooden spoon to mix it in and let the rest of the cheese to melt then turn of the heat and mix again while adding pepper. For the toast you spread butter on it and cut it into triangles. Get gud scrub
