Cheers for not shying away from calling out the G. 5k for a reliced beginner guitar is beyond insanity. I get why channels don't want to get in a fight with them, but they really need to be called on their bs.

1st- I get so tired of people questioning your integrity. You have never struck me and as anything but honest. It must get tiring. 2nd- You are in a unique position. You have had the ability to test so many different things it would be great if you did some videos on rig options that can gig with for varying price points. I know Andertons already does this, and they are great videos, but very few people have the exposure to so many different amps, guitars and pedals as you are. Just a suggestion that I'm sure you have already heard. Also, please no more videos of animals misbehaving- my cat learns from them.
As a follow up. You could start with a guitar (lets say a couple different teles, since you are such a tele lover), then a gigable amp, decent cable, and a pedal or two. Then, as new equipment shows up, you could change things out, so same tele options, same amp, but different cable and different pedals as new things are released. Kind of a rolling video series. You could also do a new guitarists pack for beginners/intermediate players, and then a recording pack, for those who want to get into recording music. I think it would be incredibly helpful to a lot of people. Again, just my two cents. Feel free to disregard.

@@kennethdarlington Well, the videos would drive likes, subscribers, affiliate link sales, etc., and they would allow previous recorded videos to be referenced so viewers could watch them again, or for the first time, leveraging previous work.
i wonder if thomann will ever do a promotion or a actual exclusive for the lefties ive always wanted ur signature guitar but its not available in lefty never has been i know we are the minority but we are still here . love the content keep the rants coming :) .

I had one of those SC tv yellow. I ended up giving it to my daughter after I bought the Gibson one ( USA though not Custom Shop) anyway he’s right it’s a great little P90 rig. Actually anything I aver bought with P90s from HB was awesome.

Hey Henning, I just wanted to say on the Koa remarks that is sort of true. ANY acoustic guitar requires you to play it a bit for it to really open up. I bought a nice acoustic a bit over a year ago and it absolutely sounds different than it did a year ago. Also, even after you have owned them and played them, if you haven't played them in 3+ days I tend to find they need a few minutes for their top to loosen up a bit and open up. I also really enjoy the fact that when I sit down with my acoustic, it's about playing music and nothing but playing music.
The PRS Mark Tremonti Lunchbox Amp is really really good. Tonewise somewhere between engl and 5150...at least for my ears😅
When you were talking about G and the customer service I was instantly reminded of why I hate them so much. I bought an LP, had a crack in the finish where the neck met the body. G support: "well, something like that happens from time to time, just enjoy your incredible guitar." I really wasn't too happy about that.
The D'Angelicos were gone as quickly as they came. Shame. That would have been great. Else, i think there are some great deals. I really wanna check out the Pigtronix Synth and even tho im having a good treated home studio, im on the fence to get the Aston Halo, because thats gotta be a "buy and never sell" thing, kinda like a great DI Box, mic stand or cable. The things less shiny but useful all the time

3 options of D`Angelico Premier with a gigbag? - The price is very good for people who want a D`Angelico. But I am not sure about the quality. I would better buy another Harley-Benton SC or CST-24.
To be completely honest, after I0 minutes I grabbed my guitar and did some practise instead. Sales really a not what they used to be, right?

I respect that you say, saving 400 on a 4000 is hardly a saving! The Thomann sale seems to be all high end shit that I dont want and cant afford if I did! The Gibson LP Jr is a joke! As you say, HB have a stunning DC LP Jr for a fraction of the price, and yes, I own one, and yes, its my go to guitar! 🙂

Actually I‘m turned off so much by the deal’s presentation on the website that more than watching your video is not going to happen. You could sell them your yearly sales excel for a big consulting fee. Then maybe I‘m interested again ( and yes I work in the software business, apparently not In design).

for the price of this gibson junior, there's better for much less:
example: a LP style from BURNY, or second-hand ones such as ORVILLE, good TOkai, or old Ibanez LP, and Edwards.
These are good guitars for much less money. 😉😉

OK, I guess that already there. But 777 for a custom is really a great deal. If currently I'd be in the market for a custom I would forgoe specific color wishes and get that one for the price.

Regarding the Dangelico guitars, I kinda feel like with this huge price drop some people just bought these to hoard them for a while, and then sell them at a double. Just a feeling.
It's kinda funny. Here it's illegal to show markdowns like that, (they have to advertise the markdown as relative to what the actual going price was prior to the markdown) and instead of showing the real markdown, they just show nothing, only the current price. They *really* don't want to make it easy to find out what the discount is.

I've bought the pigtronix space rip one year ago for double the price (€119,-).
It's the worst pedal I've ever heard, sound wise (I've fine tweaked for hours), usability wise (unusable, not even for sonic youth kinda noise), and quality wise (knobs feel like falling off) it's not even worth € 15,-
Nice that they lowered the price, it's still a sh*t product totally, I'd rather buy the cheapest Harley Benton, Behringer, Danelectro, Mooer, you name it, pedal instead...

Could you just skip the Gibsons, you usually have such a good reviews and I love to watch your show. I just need to say that your hatred is blinding you from the reality what it comes to Gibson products. They make also killer guitars - the best in the market.
Not even close to the best in the market... not even CLOSE... and the people are very very bad, dishonorable people. No idea why anyone would want to buy from them.
@@EytschPi42 I have 2021 Les Paul standard 50’s and it is the best guitar that I have got. Not the most expensive but the best for my use. So for me it is the best in the market. Sure there is a G-surcharge in the price but so there is in my Roland Vad 503 e-drums and my Fender custom shop tele etc…so when I compare my Les Paul to my other products I am happy camper with my Gibson. I also had Maybach LP and PRS single cut but Gibson is the best that I’ve own.
Sure your experience and perspective is way wider, longer and deeper (thats why I watch you) so I’m not going to argue if there are better LP’s for less price in the market. But I just want to share my experience with my Gibson LP (and SG what I also got) - no complaints.
