There's always one thing I meant to ask Jack, back in the old days. I wanted to know about that Doctor of his. The man who appears out of nowhere and saves the world, except sometimes he doesn't. All those times in history when there was no sign of him. I wanted to know why not. But I don't need to ask anymore. I know the answer now. Sometimes the Doctor must look at this planet and turn away in shame. I'm recording this in case anyone ever finds it, so you can see... you can see how the world ended.

This show put the whole Doctor Who universe in such a different perspective than the actual show (Doctor Who). That show broke my heart lol Doctor Who gives you the idea that the Doctor always show up to save the day, but then you realize he actually doesn’t. And he can’t.

I see the rage and the kindness and how it hurts. The Doctor wasn't supposed to be a warrior, but he's the good man who goes to war and sometimes even his best can't help people. This is a big lesson and even in the day life it hurts to know that. Awesome work as always.

This is brilliant, and so are you! The Doctor really tries to see the good and help everywhere he can (sometimes without thinking about the consequences of their actions for other, though), and the universe seemingly never gives them something in return. It's more than understandable why they are so full of rage and pain, but they don't let it show all the time... When viewed from farther away people do mistake Doctor Who for a funny haooy show, when in reality the funny bits are there because how would you cope otherwise - the Doctor and us - with the amount of pain and sadness reflected in the show?

The Doctor is one of my favorite protagonist (With Olimar and Ness who are criminally underated protagonist too) all fiction regarded they're such a kind and sad character trying hard to be human but also very alien with scars of so many trauma, losts and of course the Time War, it's incredible how people forget that and blame 13th for her moment where she's more alien than Human (not seeing that they act like the idiots who complained about 10th and 5fth to be too "human")
